My air conditioner would only call my house to 75°. American Home Shield‘s company came out. Two men messed around with my thermostat. Went to the backyard to look at the unit but never took the cover off. I told him the air conditioner when I call the house and was making a winding noise outside. He said it was the thermostat. My AC got broken for 2 month before contract end, I contacted this company to fix it, it was hot and agent promised to fix it ASAP. On next day they canceled my request, for my question "why did you cancel my request? " they said that contractor did this and assigned new contractor. I was waiting for new contractor for half of day and he just said - sorry we don't service such AC like this, please contact another company. been a customer for years recently water heater experience horriiiiiiiible, 11/2 I=on the phone supervisor will not answer the phone over 10 days to get a authorization will tell you they will call you back, in your dreams, never happens, had to take thing under my hands and solve my problem. They only created a bigger problem that I had. DO NOT GET THIS INSURANCE, really quit to get yuour money but not to solve your problems.

recent service call for dryer using American Home Shield charged more than the regular service call rate they normally charge ..not happy paid over 500 dollars for and for what ?

Don't be fooled thinking this is a great warranty it's not water heater was leaking to replace OUT OF POCKET &700.00 +. $75.00 SERVICE CHARGE WHAT KIND OF WARRENTY IS THAT???? They know how to collect money but never fix or reimburse your cash-out. Had a slap pipe water leak, they sent contractor and charged me right away - The contractor told me they need to break slap, fix leak then put things back. Now the leakage is going on. Frustrating process. We have been without a refrigerator for over a month, with very little hope in sight. Long wait times on hold to speak with AHS representatives. They say they will call back but never do. I have initiated over a dozen calls trying to get my issue resolved.

The Customer Service Center is horrible. Like many others in the reviews of AHS customer service center are complaining of bad customer interaction. My HVAC unit is leaking water from a condenser line. The HVAC company that was sent on Aug. 8th could not find the leak and said it was possibly a leak from the roof or plumbing line (no plumbing are located in the attic). UPDATE: It has been hours and still no call from whoever was going to "call me immediately" -- If I could give negative stars I would. On top of everything else, I log into my account today and suddenly I have no contract in the system?!?! WHAT IS THIS!
