Total scam!!!!! Stay away, it’s full of loop holes and you will never get a penny’s worth of service out of these scammers
The warranty program is great. I would rate the hold times to speak to a representative as a negative 10. As much money as ya'll receive, you would think that they would have enough customer service people to respond to your customers. I've been on hold from 30 min to over an hour. I just don't have that kind of time to be placed on hold. Not putting your customers first will always be a fail. I almost rated them a 5 out of 10, mainly because of this one issue, but I wanted to be fair to AHS. Thanks
Absolutely the worst company I have ever done business with. Every single time I have called I've been on hold for over an hour. They tell you they'll call you back and they don't. The repair service companies they use are horrendous. I had someone come out to fix a leaky gas pipe, he didn't even check to see if it was leaking after he "fixed" it, he didn't turn the gas back on and said I could do it. It took 2 companies and 4 visits for my air conditioner to get fixed. Still has to pay for Freon and service fee. Not quite sure why I still subscribe to this service.
I just called American Home Shield to check the status of my very first claim, and I'm on hold with an expected wait time of over 1 hour!! It's 1:42 p.m. on January 3, 2018 and I'm on hold...for a long time apparently.
Used coverage 1 time in 3 years and was the worst experience. And to make matters even worse was their lying ways. Not a honest company
American Home Shield sent a company with a BBB "F" rating to my home even after I protested. That is what I got. F service. Ripped me off. This company said they would contact me. I've never heard back. In the end I paid American Home Shield another $75 so I could pay a plumber $3750 to unstop my plumbing. 3 days without a shower and two with out a toilet or sink, they had me over a barrel and stuck it to me.
HORRIBLE HORRIBLE Stupid me I signed up as their rates were all inclusive and reasonable BUT when I needed service all I got was a hold time of 45 minutes and 0 answered. Then I got an auto e mail giving me a provider and guess what the same thing!! Stay away in fact run away from this company Larry K
Extremely Long wait times calling AHS. Poor communication with contractors, I waited over 2 weeks for them to fix my microwave. Contractor did not call me in 24 hours.
