Horrible co and incompetent vendors. Total of 8 days to fix a water heater element (15 min job). After 2 days they finally showed up. It worked for one day and it took them 4 days to come and fix their screw up. AHS has made it impossible to get hold of any one to complain. No emails, and at least a 60-90 minute on the phone to talk to someone who cannot do anything and clueless. Not even an apology. Avoid these people if you can. I wish there was an option for zero star option.

Extremely poor at assisting with emergency situations. We had water coming through our ceiling from an ac leak. Once they determined it was covered they said the soonest they could get someone out was the next day and that was within their protocol. Even talked to a supervisor, same verbiage-they are within their protocol. They were primarily interested in getting their fee collected. Got another vendor and had it fixed within an hour for $129.

Very unhappy with the service call. I walked with the plumber contractor through the house showing the leaky faucet, toilets, and showers. I was then told that there was no water regulator on the house and nothing was covered because all the problems were "pre-existing". Of course I just moved into the house 2 weeks before with another plumber saying water pressure was within normal limits. The plumbers left without doing a single thing and I got charged $75 for the so-called service call. The contractor plumber quoted me fo... read more

Additional cost on water heater, $70:00 monthly, additional 800.00 for hooking lines up and 75.00 additional fee. Had an 80 gallon water tank with pump, was given 50 gallon tank with pump. Refrigerator fixed three times and still does not work, frustrating. Ice maker does not turn off, refrigerator does not keep food cold. Went out and bought a new refrigerator, washer and dryer and dishwasher. Turned down additional 250 fees to fix the faucet in the kitchen plus 75.00. Got my next door neighbor to do it for 100.00.

Poor, poor service. Some of the contractors are the worst. They give no variety of time schedules and report that we need to accommodate the contractors. I found they treat the customers very poorly! Customer service is the worst, you are on hold forever!!!!!

If you have to call AHS for any reason you will wait a minimum of one hour to speak to a customer service rep. I had a claim and AHS sent a company out to fix my oven. I paid the service company the service fee with a check and the check was cashed. It has now been over 6 months and I am still getting notices that the payment is overdue. I have called 6 times and waited each time for over an hour to speak to a rep to get it resolved. Twice I conferenced in the service company and they confirmed with the customer service rep ... read more

My furnace died and I had to call them for the first time. Needed to schedule online to avoid the hour customer service call waiting time. The service company did contact me in 24 hours. I checked their ratings which were awful. Service man told me there were 2 things wrong (I have it in writing). AHS called me with a repair price which now included items not on the list I was given. Bottom line, I payed $125 for the service call, they would pay $75 for some parts and I still had to pay over $2300. Got a second opinion on my... read more

They stink. Took 4 service payments and multiple appointment, many of which were no show, and 12 month on 1 project . Plumber said I had to remove bathtub despite having access from back. I believed them. To take out and and replace it cost over $4000, Later two plumbers told me that they could easily have fixed it from the back. AHS only had two plumbing companies available at the time; one lacked proper insurance so I couldn't use them due to the HOA rules. The other was the scam scam artist who made repeaterd appointments... read more

I wasn’t happy with the way my dishwasher repair/replacement was handled. The appliance could not be repaired so AHS opted to replace my dishwasher which was fine but it wasn’t installed correctly. To this day, we still have issues with it being loose and unstable because they simply dropped the replacement off and shoved it in the cabinet. My thought is that it should be replaced CORRECTLY to correct the home owners issue. Now I have a hole new set of problems with the loose dishwasher. Not happy overall and have warned fri... read more
