We are going on 21 days with no heat. We are military, so we need a home warranty company that provides quality service. Unfortunately, we are learning that AHS is not that company. My husband is away with the military. We have texted, emailed, and called AHS with intermittent response. We complained about the subcontractor they sent out and AHS said they would send a different one. They did not, then they refused to! The subcontractor caused a propane leak yesterday and now we are left with no heat, no propane, no hot water... read more

Absolutely useless. Either AHS doesn't cover any part of the repairs but still charges the service fee of $100 for essentially doing nothing or it sends out contractors who have a review of 1(!) star on yelp, which of course results in order cancellation and full repair covered out of pocket anyways.

I live in a major metropolitan area and have had two incidences where I contacted AHS. The first time it was to fix my furnace that had died in sub-zero weather. The second time it was to fix my gas stove. In neither case were they able to find any repair company desperate enough to take their contract. After weeks of being told "any day now" they finally allowed me to get my own contractor for each. As to the furnace, they decided after the fact that the part that went bad should have been replaced as part of normal mainten... read more

It takes too long on the phone to reach someone. Company is not flexible in meeting emergency situations.

Poor customer service can't ever get a real person to talk to. They say get online but still no one to talk to there either.

The hold times are way way way too long! Holding over an hour just to follow up on an appointment that I schedulesd on the website. Come tonfind out it didn't even get scheduled because there was a problem finding someone.

Seems like a scam at times they make you wait over an hour to talk to them. On the phone. They are hoping you give up and hang up the phone. Service companies they use are difficult to get a hold of as well you have no choice but to wait them out and put up with there unwillingness to to do AHS work. Took over a month to fix our AC this Summer had to use 3 different vendors to get it fixed correctly. Was over 100 degrees that month with no AC but AHS didn't seem to see the urgency to get if fixed in a timely manner.
