Service is good. But WILL NOT RENEW because their phone wait times are completely unacceptable
Buyer beware: American Home Shield will only provide you service Monday - Friday, unless their system determines otherwise, not the people with brains that work there, but their system that was built to "take all the guesswork out" for their customer service reps. This is the worst company I have ever dealt with! Extremely long wait times on the phone with no apologies when you do reach a live person. I am trying to cancel the contract! Please do not give them your business. You will regret it!!!
Broken washer July 19. Condemned Sept 24. 7 visits. 2 false repairs, one resulting in major damage. Received Check Oct 9. Problem repeatly misdiagnosed. Need better contractors and quicker resolution. Perseverance pays.
I have had several home warranties from different companies over the years American Home shield is by far the worst company I have ever had to use. If it didn’t come with my home purchase I woul have asked for a refund, but I can tell you right now I will NEVER use this company ever again. Their customer service is the worst. They have horrible customer service reps. It seems they are in a scam with the contractors as the contractor from on time plumbing in Van Nuys California will say you need modifications but they seem to pray on your desperation and tell the customers you need these extra things so they can charge you almost ten times the service fee. This is exactly what they seemed to have done to use. The plumber upsold is making us believe we needed this stuff to get the water heater replaced. Speaking with a customer service rep is always 30-60mins to speak with someone
Horrible experience with my AC issue. Every time we would get a negative diagnosis they would make us get another opinion until it was their favor. No AC for 2 months during 100-118 degree heat and displaced out of our home. Most of the time they just blew us off and Timothy H couldn't care less about his customers!!! Sent a lot of correspondence, emails, fed ex, etc and nothing!!
Ihave had a horrible experience, unable to get ahold of anyone, been on hold today 33 mins so far yesterday 75 mins never got ahold of any one. the delivery of appliance didn't coincide with the person that is suppose to install. took two days off of work and still waiting for appliance to be delivered. appliance delivery was late , not within the window, no one could get ahold of co they said they are middleman.wasnt notified that the appliance was separate from the installer. very upset with communications and missed today... read more
