I have had the worst experience with AHS. They are impossible to get on the phone. I have waited over two hours to speak to someone in customer service twice and 1 hour and 40 minutes once. The first time I used it for my dryer it took the company (who had an F on the BBB) over a month to fix. This time they sent someone to fix my washer who didn't know how to fix washers. I have to now find someone to do it and have them pay me back. They gave me the wrong number to contact for authorization. It is a total nightmare of a co... read more

We have currently been without a washer for over a month. We understand the part is backorder but have been told that it is back ordered until the middle of November (2 months). After a few frustrating weeks of having to work in finding a place to wash clothes my husband went on-line to find the part for a GE washer and was able to locate it within a minute and it could have been delivered within 2 days through Sears. Horrible business practices. They partner with poor contractors who inflate their prices. AHS will only pay a fraction of repair/replacement costs.

Worst customer service of any company I have ever had to deal with. 30 and 40 minutes hold time

I have waited on the phone for over 1 hour more than once. I have been disconnected also. It is extremely hard to actually speak to someone. When I have called regarding AC or anything electrical, the same men come out but as a different company! They do not fix anything but tell me that the problem is something else. When I call another repair service to come out, they fix the original problem and tell me I was misled by AHS. I end up paying the AHS fee and the fee for a company that actually does the repair.

We have placed 3 service calls with AHS already and all were denied even though it was covered in the contract. We then conducted an independent verification which we video recorded where AHS had said our main line was cracked and the video showed no cracks. When calling AHS to discuss this with a supervisor I was constantly told a supervisor would reach out in 1-2 days. After placing several calls I have all but given up. I am a property manager with multiple properties with multiple contract with AHS. AHS does not have a web site for property managers to file maintenance requests for tenants, therefore, I need to call in and be place on hold. Each time my hold time averages about 1 hour. Today, I waited for 2 hours only to be met by a rude representative. Additionally, my tenants have to wait about 48 hours for a contractor to call them to set an appointment. We have waited over three months to have the same issue resolved. Either they don't follow or the vendor that they chose doesn't follow through. We have to wait an hour on hold for customer service only to get the runaround and absolutely NO help. Each representative we have spoken to has told us a different story. My advice is chose another company!!

I’m bring harassed by texts of not paying for a service payment for the second time now, spending a half hour on hold each time..all because I’m told, your computers were down! The texts threatened to drop my coverage! Well I’m considering dropping your coverage as well! Is anyone in charge of AHS?
