They have horrible wait times usually and hour to two hours to talk to someone. No live chat . Then they send technicians out that do not have good reviews , do the job half way that you have to call for service again. Technicians never on time or forgets your appointment. Then wait on hold another hour just to tell them technician didn’t show and won’t return your call. They do eventually get it fixed but too much stress and hassle. Switching when contract is up.
This is the absolute worse company I have ever worked with. It starts out with taking over an hour to get anyone on the phone and goes downhill from there. I had an experience with a broken water line under my slab and it took over 3 weeks to get anyone to finally do the repairs and that was only because i called again ( and waited 0ver an hour on the phone) to ask what the status was. Customer service getting very slack. Service from them is poor.
This is a terrible company. They hire inferior repair companies that don’t return calls. They have lousy customer service. I was on hold for an hour before finally getting through to a rep. After hearing my story, the rep puts me on hold and the next thing you know I am back in the que for another hour and finally another 30 mins to cancel. They take entirely too long for repairs because they only allow the repair company to order one part at a time and they hold no inventory. This company was great when I signed up with them a few years back. It has been getting worse in the last few years. There was a problem with billing where I had paid the repairman and since AHW couldn’t get in touch with the repair company AHS continually hounded me for the money even though I had a canceled check from the repairman. Additionally, the wait times when you call in for a repair I have waited over an hour to speak to someone. Also, this company has been horrible about getting emergency repairs.
Every time I call I'm on hold between 45-80 minutes just waiting to talk to someone.
I don't know if I should write a review now, I'm so frustrated. Earlier this year I called for service regarding replacement of a garbage disposal. The contractor assigned was horrible, received 2 stars or less on Yelp and that was generous. Was charged for a house call that did not happen and was sent emails that my account was past due. The contractor did not have the unit and did not call to cancel/reschedule the appointment. I have been waiting since December 4th to schedule a repair. My refrigerator is leaking water and the compressor is groaning. As I write, I've been on hold for over 45 minute for the 5th time!!! It's impossible to speak with a person. I have also been messaging them thru their Facebook site. No response there since the 6th of December...although they advertise instant responses. I did contact the contractor and left my name and number on the 6th..no response from them either.
Worst home warranty company! 1) Customer Service - “zero” /no star rating. Minimum wait time when calling is 30 min - 1 hr! It’s like that every time I’ve called! 2) Service Fee - $125 too high and I don’t like paying upfront to AHS to pass on to vendor. I don’t trust they pay vendor all the $ money and on time. Also I would prefer getting receipt from vendor not a AHS. I did not receive a receipt from a AHS or service call in January. 3) Warranty - of recent kitchen sink disposal.
