We’ve been pretty happy with American Home Shield with the exception of a recent experience, where a repair was completed only for us to learn a month later to have the same issue occur because it wasn’t done correctly the first time. As a result, we had to come out of pocket for another service fee, which I feel should have been covered by American Home Shield due to the fact that the issue was not resolved the first time. Usually we get people that know what needs to be done. We sometimes have to wait for parts. I am wondering why my monthly payment has gone up.

I like the security knowing that the product will be replaced if it cannot be repaired; however, I also know that the replacement product will never be the same quality we had . We had a microwave replaced. The old one was a Dacor and the new replacement was a GE Monogram.

We have had AHS for more than 30 years, for 5 different homes and I have yet to have a situation that they did not resolve by repair or replacement. We have had repairs and replacements for plumbing , electric, air conditioners, furnaces, stove, garage door opener, pool pump, sump pump, water heater, garbage disposal, and microwave oven. We have had an outstanding relationship with AHS since 1994 and I plan to continue that relationship until I an no longer a home owner.

Great service, quick access to technicians. I have been assigned some non certified companies for the appliances that needed service. They took much longer than expected to diagnose and source the correct parts.

We have had a home warranty with American Home Shield for over a decade. The majority of our experience has been very good until our most recent claim experience. The rep. assigned to repair our washer was extremely late, caused additional damage, and didn't complete the repair. The AHS rep promised either a Senior rep. from that company would come correct all issues or assign it to another company. Neither happened.
