We’ve been pretty happy with American Home Shield with the exception of a recent experience, where a repair was completed only for us to learn a month later to have the same issue occur because it wasn’t done correctly the first time. As a result, we had to come out of pocket for another service fee, which I feel should have been covered by American Home Shield due to the fact that the issue was not resolved the first time. I like the security knowing that the product will be replaced if it cannot be repaired; however, I also know that the replacement product will never be the same quality we had . We had a microwave replaced. The old one was a Dacor and the new replacement was a GE Monogram.
