We ask for service, and ASH sends a technician. We've never had a problem getting someone competent and professional to help. There is never a haggle trying to get something that is covered fixed.

Initially, I was skepitcal of home warranties because I thought they were a waste of money. One of my neigbors had American Home Shield and recommended them. I decided to give it a try even though I was skeptical. About 8 months after signing the home warranty contract we had an issue with our dishwasher and stove top. We called AHS and they immediately sent out a contractor. However, the contractor came to our house for 5 minutes to diagnose the problem and took forever to submit it to AHS.
