Both Techs that visited us, one to diagnosis the repair and then the other that cam out to fix the problem were awesome! Very professional and very knowledgeable. I would highly recommend Mr. Appliance and Home Shield. Only down side was waiting 6 weeks for the parts to come in.
I love AHS! I love the security and lack of worry I enjoy knowing my appliances and heat pump are covered. I've been in this house 14 years so many things have been breaking. This time it was my garbage disposal. The licensed plumber came quickly n did a great job. So thankful for my combo coverage!! Kathie J
This was the fifth time I have benefited from our American Home Shield service agreement. Each time they have responded promptly to our request for service and have made repair or replacement promptly. The contractors in each case have also responded promptly and have provided excellent service.

They contacted a company and they came out the next day and serviced my air unit. He was very professional. American Home Shield has always provided excellent service companies.
Few months with the service and so far very pleased. 11 yr old hot water heater stopped working out of the blue. AHS sent out a local plumber who replaced the 2 heating coils within a few days of opening claim. Couple of days later no hot water. AHS resent the plumber. Plumber replaced the thermostat to learn that the HWH wasn't getting power from the breaker box. AHS dispatched a local electrician who identified a major issue with my 35 yr old breaker box where one by one circuits were burning out.....literally causing blac... read more
This is our first experience with an extended home warranty so we weren't exactly sure how to expedite things but the contract reads easily and the online request application is very simple and timely. Once you submit your request, you are contacted in the same day to discuss next steps. We bought a house that is 15 years old with all original appliances.
