AHS was very prompt to reply to my service request and gave a prompt follow-up after repairs were completed. I am very pleased with my experience with AHS and would recommend them to others.
The guy from SAP Services was very good but it seemed that the problem didn't exist when he got here. Overall, American Home Shield is simple, quick and easy.
I just moved in the beginning of August and I had to use American Home Shield twice already, and they were good both times. I’m very happy with them. It’s so easy to submit a claim. You just go online and submit it. And based off of your plan that you select, you get a charge. It’s either $75 or $100 and then, you pay that when you request the appointment. Excellent response from AHS. Prompt follow up. Repairs were made in good time. AHS have excellent technicians... very professional and does Excellent work . Customer service is very good. They respond well with questions. Good follow up. I highly recommend AHS
We had a locksmith come out and change some lock for us. He was right on time and did the job quickly. It was great.
The microwave was not working correctly. The contractor called early and let me know that he was on his way. When he came to the door, I showed him where the microwave was. We both had masks on because of COVID. The contractor examined the microwave and started to work on it. One part was missing and he needed to order it. So I have a follow-up appointment coming up. Overall, I had a good experience. When filing a claim with American Home Shield, you explain a problem on the worksheet on the computer and then submit it.
I had an issue with electricity on one of my rooms. I submitted a claim to American Home Shield online. They got back with me and set up a date to come fix it. The contractor came out and fixed it. He was a good guy, was really friendly and came in prepared. He did good. Unfortunately, I have to call them again because the problem came back yesterday.
My drain in the kitchen sink was backing up. It was the contractor's their second time out and what they had to do was cut the pipes and put some new pipes in there because it was all clogged up. However, it had the little gunk inside of the pipes and they left some of the gunk that was there. It had it smelling really bad. But other than that, everything was fine.
I like the peace of mind brought about by my home warranty. If two of your appliances break down at the same time, then you're not out of thousands of dollars. And even though I haven't used American Home Shield very much in the past couple of years, I think they've gotten better. They sometimes used to be difficult to deal with and would send out third-rate companies. But recently when I've used them, they've been excellent.
