The washing machine wasn't going through the cycles. It was good to use the AHS website to file the claim. Then it took about 48 hours for the Martin's Appliance Repair to come out. Their technician was talking in Spanish but he showed me the part that was messed up. Then he contacted American Home Shield about getting an order and it took about a week to get it in. I had claims for the toilet, which was running uncontrollably, and a gas leak. From the website, I was given an expectation that I will be contacted in the next 24 to 48 hours but AHS actually contacted me the same day. They exceeded that expectation. The plumbing company was great. They replaced the part in the toilet and fixed the gas leak, which definitely lowered my water bill and I'm able to have some functional heat. Greatly satisfied so far.
When I called American Home Shield and talked to them when my air condition water pan was filling up, they were very professional and helpful. I left it up to South Belt AC & Heating when they would come out since they have other clients as well. They came, fixed the problem and thus far, it's been very good.
We had a refrigerator that went out and one was having a problem with the ice maker, and then the dishwasher. Cooper Appliances came out. The guy was nice. He said there was nothing that could be done with the dishwasher. It was just a bad dishwasher. The refrigerator inside with the ice maker had problems with the ice maker. And it was a constant problem with that brand of refrigerator. They won't fix the ice makers or recall them. And then, they did a quick fix on the refrigerator outside, which wasn't working. Gotta Plumber came and did the sump pump. It wasn't working at all and they replaced it. The technician was very professional and he did it in one day. I also have a claim for the dishwasher and it's not completed yet. The contractor had to order the part. They just called and said the part was in, and they're coming on next Friday. Every call we've had with American Home Shield, two on the AC and one on the toilet, has been top-notch. We had a leak on the tank of the toilet so a guy came in and replaced the bolts and the bushings, tightened it down and got everything done pretty quick. He was really good, very informative, right on time, and got the problem fixed. He was a very easy person to work with. He listened to my problem and took everything into consideration. He was very pleasant and very professional.
We had a plumbing issue with the bathtubs. There was a 40-minute wait time for a representative to come on when submitting the claim. After that extended wait time being on hold and waiting for a representative, I went ahead and tried the online thing. Then the contractor called me the very next day and set up an appointment. Our AC had a leak due to wear and tear. The service was good and North Pulaski Heat & Air met all my expectations. They had to replace the AC. There's no more water leak. American Home Shield has been beneficial whenever I've used it. But hopefully the inspection fee doesn't go up.
My most recent claim with American Home Shield was for a problem with the toilet. At first, I had a hard time doing it online. I finally got the right page and filed it online. The contractor came out. They were very professional. They had called ahead of time to find out what was wrong and gave me information over the phone. They called when they were on their way.
