The claims process was pretty easy online and then we had a contractor come in. He replaced the garbage disposal and left. It was quick and easy. But the garbage disposal still has some problems. I used it yesterday and it didn't work. So I was gonna reach out to AHS again. Last year, the experience I had with American Home Shield was terrible. My water heater was leaking water. I called American Home Shield and they told me that a rep was gonna contact me from the plumbing service. A few days later, their contractor came out and they set an appointment for them to come out again to change out my water heater. The techs disposed of the old one and the new one has been working fine ever since. Both of the techs finished fast and they were very respectful.
The guy who came out was really good. He troubleshot everything and found multiple problems that the last team never got fixed. That team didn't complete their job. When I got home, the fuse panel was open and I could see wires. I had to put it back together myself and close it up. I called back and American Home Shield wanted to give me the same AC company, and I didn't want that. I was kind of ready to cancel the warranty. My garbage disposal was leaking. Submitting a claim for it to American Home Shield was pretty easy over the phone. Their reps were kind and very informative. They sent Plumbing Enterprises to do the work and they called when they were about to get to my place. The techs were very kind and cautious. They had a mask on when they came. Everything has been back to normal since then.
I called a claim in and the tech was out the next day. The heater wasn't blowing hot air and he had to go get a part. It only took him about 30 minutes. He was very professional.
Dense came in for the hot water heater and they were amazing. They got things taken care of and they did a great job. American Home Shield always helped when I've had problems. They've always been very good about helping. The contract price is reasonable for a homeowner. They've always been very, very good about getting things fixed. They've always been very professional. They are an all-around good company.
American Home Shield has done everything right every time I've ever used them. I enjoy and I appreciate them. They are a great company. I recommend them to other homeowners because they come in, get it done, and they're very truthful which is what I love about them. American Home Shield was raved about by a friend of mine and she kept saying to me that I need American Home Shield. I finally got them and my very first claim was my refrigerator. They sent this guy out who was terrible but it wasn’t their fault. It took forever for me to get American Home Shield on the phone to tell them I do not want this guy back in my house. The AC had a leak and it took ACS a little bit to come out, which was maybe three days. But the AC is doing good now.
