American Home Shield is a good thing to have. Filing a claim to them is fairly simple. Just go online, do a few clicks and it's submitted. Recently, a contractor came out for the AC unit. He seemed very polite, professional and knowledgeable. The claim was closed and the AC unit's running well.
I've had American Home Shield for almost as long as I've lived in this house. I lived in this house for more than 20 years now. It's fairly easy to submit the claim and their representatives are pretty good. But I have a problem with how much time they take to get somebody to come out and that's even before the Coronavirus. I submitted a claim for my refrigerator. Both the cooling component in the fridge and the freezer just stopped working. The claims process wasn't too bad. I did it online. Online is way easier than doing it via the phone. The contractor that was sent out was very nice and informative. He took the time to explain everything he was doing and what had failed. The technician from Tompkins Appliance who came out to service an appliance was very professional and repaired the unit. I usually call when I submit my claims to American Home Shield and I’d recommend them. We've had several situations and each time, it's been very good. AHS is very easy to work with, dependable and they provide excellent service.
I had something wrong with my microwave vent and something was happening with the ice machine. Unique Appliance Repair was able to get through it pretty quickly. We were pleased with their services and I will utilize them again if possible, if we needed it. Also, I like Home Shield's responsiveness. For the most part, we have had really good experiences with things that needed to be serviced.
I’m really happy with American Home Shield when I use them. The last time I called in, it was for two separate claims for $75 a piece. Will from Mr Rooter was really professional and nice. He had to go up in my attic and roto-rooter out the drain where the primary drain from the air conditioning goes out 'cause it was leaking. It was filling up and overflowing and coming out my baseboards. He did a real good job and got it fixed. I had a bathroom issue too. Rescue Your Air came out recently and replaced a motor. The guy that installed it was really nice, polite, and professional. He asked me if I wanted to ask any questions. He explained it very well and showed me what it was. It was excellent.
American Home Shield is a really great resource. I'm not a handyman but I do learn from the people that come by. They're really great. My recent experience with American Home Shield was wonderful. It was for our toilet and the process was easy. I just went online, booked my thing then I had a plumber in my house. They're the best plumbing service I've ever seen. Submitting claims with Home Shield has always been great. The most recent one was at my condo for an air conditioner. We had to replace it. I've been waiting on a check from Home Shield. But everything has been good. Home Shield always does what they tell me they will do. My experience has been really good and positive.
