You guys are terrible! Worst customer service process I have ever seen! Managers are afraid to talk to customers or deal with escalations. Agents are left on their own to handle customer issues with a very precarious process. Terrible company. In addition to not renewing the contract once it ends, I also don't recommend AHS to friends or family. In fact, I wouldn't even recommend it to enemies. Look out. They will rip you off. They charge 59 dollars to waist 5 weeks of your time to then tell you it will be another 12 plus weeks if you want them to do the work. I cannot submit this without giving one star and they deserve zero stars!!!!
We called the company because our ice maker stopped working. The first person came into our home with no tools, no identification and just looked at the ice maker and said it needed to be replaced. Never heard back from him or anyone else from the company. We called and a second man came and repeated that the unit needed to be replaced. A deposit of $374.57 was placed. 36 days later and no action. I called “Customer Service” and was told that the person who had “serviced” our home couldn't be reached. I signed up to be a NEW customer, I had a bad odor coming from my commode, and thought it may be a drainage problem....They scheduled me an appointment on Mon 5-24-21, and the day of called and canceled "saying they could not find a plumber to fulfill the work order??" so they rescheduled me for today 5-26-21, Well, they just called using the exact same excuse, I don't understand, this is your profession, and you use numerous plumbers to contract out the service.....THEY TRIED TO RESCHEDULE FOR A 3RD TIME!!!! Our dishwasher needed a new water inlet valve. I called American Home Shield ProConnect, described the problem, gave them the dishwasher model number and booked a repair appointment for the next day. The technician arrived an hour after the scheduled time, confirmed the nature of the problem, but had no parts with him. He ordered a part and scheduled an appointment for the next day (a Wednesday). The service is terrible. I book an appointment on 5/5/21, the some was suppose to come to my home that day between the hours of 2:00pm and 4:00pm. the cancel the appointment an hour before the time they were supposed to be at my home. The reason why their reviews are so great is because after you write your first bad review, they don't publish it. Then, after having to reuse American Home Shield on a follow-up claim, they resend you emails to rate their work but their links won't allow you to post reviews. Once you publish their true ratings they say give them 7 days to get with the company before they publish the negative review. Ghosted 5 times on reschedules, part "ordered" never shown up. Been a month so far with no repair. The service is basically a middleman that calls appliance shops to repair and takes a cut for linking you up. Would be decent if they actually did their jobs, but ultimately it's a random person that calls you with no understanding of your case history / details.
