My experience with ProConnect was very disappointing, ridiculous, and very dishonest. First technician came out to assess freezer (was no longer making ice) within 5 minutes/less stated that we needed a control panel, made a phone call and subsequently told my husband I that our refrigerator was too old (it is 11 years old) and the part is no longer made. They are horrible!!!! I was given an appointment. PROMISED a technician would be here. They sent several texts letting me know the safety protocols and notifying me that the tech would contact me when he was on the way. 15 minutes before my scheduled appointment window, I received a text that my appointment was canceled!!!! When I called them to find out what was going on, I was informed that they have no technicians available and they don't guarantee that someone will come who you make an appointment. If I could select a MINUS I would. I booked for Refrigerator repair (refrigerator suddenly stopped on Saturday 7/17). Was able to make Appointment for Mon 7/19 between 8-10 am. I got text reminders on Sat & Sun to confirm appointment. On Mon 7/19 at 7:14 I got a text: Your Am Shield ProConnect Appliance Repair Job has been Cancelled. Book a new appointment." WORST COMPANY EVER! BUYER BEWARE!!!!! They came to fix my Samsung front loader dryer, said I needed 4 wheels to the cost of $110 plus 179 labor for s total of 315. They made the repair and 3 days later dryer is making same noise. I call the company they assure me technician will be out at no charge with another piece. That is now week and half ago. Three times I have sat in my two hour window waiting for them and it’s excuse after excuse. They basically got my money and o got nothing.

Service technician came out to diagnose my washer. He turned a screw at the bottom and then informed me that it was repaired. He left turns out it was not repaired. I called the company they told me that the service technician has 24 hours to respond. He did not respond. I called back 24 hours later asking for a refund for my diagnostic fee because it was not diagnosed, nor was it repaired, Mark the customer service rep told me per the terms and conditions the diagnostic fee is not refundable. They canceled on me two separate appointment times! I rearranged my entire schedule for both days and received phone calls canceling the appointment on both days. I’ll unfortunately have to look for another company to fix my washing machine.

I called them for a job for my dishwasher and they came and charge for a service call and give a few things to do and problem still there. called them again to come back after 2 weeks after 3 times appointment and on the day of appointment cancel by them , finally they said find someone else to fix it .. it was a very unreliable company and I do not know how they do business.

The company they scheduled to come clean carpet is ProConnect and they cancelled at the last minute before arrival..unprofessional wouldn't recommend...shady company
