Was told in 6 months my credit score would start going up. 9 months and $500 a month later, my credit score has continued to go down. Much lower now than if I had just gone thru bankruptcy. Guess it's time to consider bankruptcy. I absolutely would not recommend this company.
I am getting leary of the time involved to start negotiations. I have received correspondence from the creditors that have indicated that they are willing to negotiate, and I find that Americor hasn’t even attempted to start negotiations. I have been informed by Americor that they will start attempting negotiating with Care Credit and American Express sometime within the next two months. I signed up in November. Why the hold up?!
At first, I thought Americor was a legit company to work with BUT then false statements and misleading responses made me decide to cancel my relationship with this firm at 100%.
I have not received a call since they got my signature on their contract. My experience with Americor has been difficult because I can't get anyone to actually talk to me or call me when they say they're going to. Americor takes your money and then they don't get in touch with you so they don't really feel like your friend. They should be more communicative with their clients.
Nobody's returned their call to me. I can't get anybody to contact me back to close that account.
They did not return my phone calls after I got what they needed from me, so I can't move forward unless they call me back.
So far I'm not real happy because they quoted me a monthly price and it's a big difference compared to what it will actually be. I just got an email today saying I'm going to be paying about double what they told me on the phone when I signed up with them.
After 8 months and destroying my credit, I only got a 13% effective reduction in my enrolled liability considering Americor charges. It's hardly worth the trouble.
there is a big difference between what they offer and what they do. After 7 months, they have only closed a couple of deals. They promised me that if I made all the payments on time in 6 months, they would give me a loan to cover my debt, with a similar payment. They offered me a loan paying a payment of double the current pay… that is called cheating
Americor has a 4.7 star rating with 29,825 reviews.
Americor is closed now. It will open at 5:00 a.m.
