I cannot express how grateful I am for this staff! The Aminal Emergency Hospital on Plainfield in Grand Rapids went above and beyond! From texting me updates about how my pup was doing, to truly taking the time to discuss what was going on and how we could solve it... I am so grateful. Dr. Bink helped me out today and was by far the best vet I have had in the two years I have been a dog owner! Seriously, such a good experience (minus the reason we were there, obviously). Not a firm diagnosis, have to see a specialist. BUT THE CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS, and as panicked as I was, they were always very calm and comforting. Sent picture updates letting us know he was okay and how sweet he was. Documents after discharge were very thorough, as well as the vets, and still mentioned how good of a boy he was. :) Just made us feel like they truly care! Brought my infant red eared slider here thinking he had a possible respiratory infection. The staff and doctors were absolutely wonderful. They made sure my little angel was safe and well cared for a took the time to contact other doctors to make sure that my turtle got the correct diagnosis and then took the time to explain everything to me. I was blown away with the compassion and care! If you ever have a pet emergency this is the place to go for sure! :)

I am a student from the east side and never once did it cross my mind to establish a vet on the west side. My poor cat was in distress and needed medical attention. I did not hesitate coming here as they had high reviews and were within good distance. The staff was so welcoming and caring, they were on it and immediately noticed my cat needed oxygen. Or dog, Abby, recently had muscle tremors and high temp from something she ate. Their quick response and attention saved her life. I am forever grateful for the loving staff who took care of her!!
