Brought my dog Batman in on Monday due to a possible seizure and the staff were so compassionate from the 3 people working up front first who saw me super upset and worried and then when I met with the veterinarian, he made sure I understood and gave me options of next steps…for a place you don’t want to have to go to the staff was superb. The worst part was the wait and they were honest and upfront about that which I appreciated.

I brought my dog Beck in for an emergency visit, they were amazing with him and were sensitive to me. They gave me different options of how to diagnose and treat his pain, with various costs. I appreciate the detailed information on cost and benefits of the treatments. Beck is doing awesome after his treatment and i would recommend Animal Emergency of GR to anyone that needs a vet. We had good timing so we got in right away. Staff were kind and caring. I appreciated the Provider offering options as far as testing since our dog was stable. Waiting area is spacious and comfortable and you are given the option to leave and come back if you prefer. I am used to being with my dog during her exam so it was a little strange to be out in the waiting room. It seems like I could be a good source of information since my pet can’t talk. Humans are allowed to have someone with them in the ER. Just a thought…

Wednesday we came home to our ferret, Carbon, not moving and unresponsive, in a shock like state and shaking and couldn’t move. After calling prices for over an hour we finally got hold of this place. After the 1.5 hour drive, we were brought in for our Carbon to be taken back immediately. After a little over a day and a half, it was finally time to say goodbye to our baby. The heartbreak is so hard but I know he was in hands of people who tried to save him. Absolutely wonderful experience. Christmas Day I had an emergency with my shih tzu. They got him in right away, took care of surgery, provided all the meds we needed. The staff was phenomenal and they were able to save his eyesight. Everyone was more than helpful and comforting and accommodating to me during the stressful wait.

Extremely clean and efficient practice. Very caring staff. Very knowledgeable vet on duty when we came in. We live in Kalamazoo and will probably just make the drive up from now on. So much happier with the service given.
