I cannot say enough good things about this place. We were faced with an unforeseen emergency on a Saturday night with our beloved cat and rushed him to Animal Emergency and Speciality Vet. From the help at the front desk to the vet technician, they were so kind and comforting. I can't say enough great things about AESC. I was recommended here by my primary vet after my Greyhound had been seen by her and an orthopedic surgeon at another hospital. I called them to see how soon they could get my dog in for a bone biopsy and they were able to get me in two days later! The surgeon (Dr. Heffernan) spent time going over what she believed might be wrong with my dog, she gave me all my options and spent time answering all my questions. Busy practice. The nature of it being an emergency center makes both the in person and calls sometimes critical . The volume the three times I've been in and times I've called was a little frustrating but seeing the office staff try and make sure calls are answered and seeing the vet staff work they all seem to be doing a good job based on doing the right things along with the massive volume of patients. I got the feeling it was as competent and professional as a human ER/practice

We felt really lucky to find this office. Unfortunately our dog needed urgent care on a Sunday morning. Animal Emergency & Specialty Center was there for us! They provided very friendly and professional service in treating our dog. I was really dreading the cost, but was pleasantly surprised how reasonable the cost turned out to be. I highly recommend them. Thanks!

So grateful for the diagnosis from Dr. Sittenfeld - despite what the radiologist thought - his suspicions were right and there was an obstruction in Duke's intestine. Dr Brand was able to do surgery that night and Duke is recovering well at home. Thank you so much!
