My Gizmo was dying in my arms, I was rejected by two places because they were 'at full capacity'. I was so distraught and called AESC. They said to bring him right in. When I got there, they, immediately, took him and evaluated him. It was too late for my Giz. I've never been 'through the end with my baby' before and the entire time, while I was numb, seemed to kind. I have no words to express my gratitude!!! Let me start by saying I don't like that I am reviewing an merge by vet. What I can say, when I came in with my very sick cat they were very kind and help me. I would highly recommend them.

Center is fantastic. Doctors and staff are amazing. Only 4-stars because waits can be long if not a life-threatening issue.

The neuro team at AESC helped us feel better about our treatment path for our doggo Toby. We felt heard, and everyone approached our concerns with compassion and professionalism.

Everyone I encountered was kind and great to work with. This was our third experience here. It was an emergency intestinal obstruction for our dog and the price we were quoted was more than we could afford. The vet was so understanding and sympathetic. I got off the phone thinking we would have to say goodbye to our dog but she called me back 15 minutes later and had coordinated with our vet who was able to have a surgeon come in to do the surgery at a significantly lower cost. This is an impressive place. We live an hour away and yet this was the only place we could get an appointment with an internal medicine specialist and get an ultrasound for our cat. They were good at communication about appointments and scheduling and were kind and compassionate on the phone (though they are an emergency center open 24/7 so I often had a long hold time because they are super busy). AESC was able to see my dog quickly and remove a mass the following day. I am very happy with Dr. Brand's detailed explanation of our options and what would happen during and after surgery. Felt very comfortable with the care being provided. Dr. Brand and the vet tech spent the time necessary to make sure we felt comfortable with next steps. Would highly recommend.

This is not a good review to type out for me... But I thought i should, to give others an idea on what to expect if they have to take their pets to an ER and if they've never been to AESC before. The only negative, and it may be kind of a big one, really, was the wait. The wait was long... Anything feels long when you know your pet is suffering but I guess given it's an ER one should expect long waits... Especially since they were still seeing their regularly scheduled patients, too.
