Never a bad experience with this vet hospital. We have three dogs (5 if you count my kid's dogs) who are patients here, and the Dr. and staff are always pleasant and professional. One of our dogs is a holy terror at the vets, struggling like a rabid MMA fighter for everything from the stethoscope to a nail trim, but they continue caring for her in a kind and gentle manner. Such patience for that patient! I haven't noticed that the prices are any higher than other vets, and even if they were, I'd continue to bring my dog... read more

We lost our Katty on December 29th 2017. He was feral when he adopted us in 2007. I got him to a vet once back then. He almost tore his own claws out in the carrier on the way there. We found out he was about 4 yrs old and fixed. He got a vaccination, and it was his last trip to the vet...he would never come in the house ...he preferred outside and our garage. Arroyo Veterinary Center is where we took him that day in December...they were so kind and helpful. We had him cremated. A few days later we got a lovely "Rainbow Brid... read more

Arroyo Veterinary Center is awesome. I've taken many foster dogs to Arroyo for spay, neuter, vaccines, illnesses and surgeries. Veterinarians, vet techs and office staff are all very professional, kind, compassionate and knowledgeable. Their diagnosis and treatment has always been right on. There have been numerous times where I've had serious problems/concerns with a foster dog and they always seem to fit me in. In one particular case, they stitched up a dog late on July 3 when they were swamped before the holiday. ... read more

Very thankful for Arroyo Veterinary. The professionalism of the front office, vet techs and the docs is top notch. Many of my foster dogs were patients here and I was always impressed by the level of care they received. We recently moved from the bay area to the sierra foothills and really needed advice on whether to proceed with a risky surgery for our 12 year old dog to help her breathing. Karen scheduled a phone consult for me with Dr. Valdez quickly. Dr Valdez spent almost 30 minutes with me going over all the intricacie... read more

Highly recommend this business. Great service with terrific bedside manners. Have taken all of our pets here for years, dogs, cats, rabbits, and guinea pig. Nice to know they are just around the corner.

I've had my dog to Arroyo Vets three times in the past 8 months and every time the service is - excellent! Not all hospital staff are good at dealing with big dogs, but Arroyo staff are. ... it's now been three years of visits to Arroyo Vets and my dog is13 1/2 years old! Dr. Kapty has been wonderful with him. He has major arthritis in his back legs and hips and Dr has taken us through a wide variety of treatments, most of which worked for a while. But, he is now at an age where little is working and we are simply tyin... read more

My dog got sick early this year and had been in and out of the vet's office (it seemed like I was bringing her in every other month - I won't go into details about her medical issues.) While the doctors weren't able to tell me what exactly was wrong with her without doing exploritory surgery (I suspect she had cancer) they always gave me options for treatments and sent my dog home feeling better. She passed away last month and the staff at Arroyo couldn't have been more kind and compassionate. They gave me a clay paw print ... read more

We LOVE it here! And so does our pup! Everyone is extremely nice and explain everything very clearly and don't make you feel like an idiot for asking a million of questions. They were upfront with pricing. They have a puppy plan and we're honest with us in saying they don't think it would be beneficial for us since she is already fixed and has her first round of shots. But gave us prices for everything in case we decided to go that route. And we really appreciated that. It's a great feeling to walk into a place and they ... read more
