I love the entire staff at Arroyo. Even with difficult situations, they take the time to explain your options, consider costs, and provide the absolute best care. Your pets health, happiness and comfort are their top priorities. My first visit in 2015- my dog had been attached by another dog and was in rough shape. We have been taking our 3-year-old doodle to Arroyo Vet since he was a puppy. We absolutely love the entire staff here as does our pup. He actually still gets excited to go to their office and walks in and out of there wagging his tail. They always remember him by name and show him so much love! I never feel like they're just trying to make money off me and they're always willing to give me advice to do whats best for our dog.. and my bank account! today i had a nightmare scenario: my large dog was overheating and my partner was not at home to help me wrangle him into the bath. i called arroyo, and they saw me right away. now we are back at home, my dog is healthy, and i am at ease. they're my superheroes! i can honestly say that as the parents of 3 big dogs, we have had several occasions where we had to run in with an emergency. each and every time we were met with empathy, wonderful care, and our dogs were given the best treatment. all for a reasonable amount of m... read more

At 12, you'd expect your dog to slow down, but our Peppa is healthy, happy, and active thanks to the excellent care and astute observations made by our veterinarian Dr Quintana.We absolutely love her and the staff. Pretty nice place located in a busy shopping center. Right next to safeway! Brought my dog in cause he looked like he was in pain. I was seen right away and I loved how the vet got down on the floor with my pup. She was super comfortable and casual. Got the meds quickly and the whole exam took less than 30 mins. Only thing is that the front desk seems to be set up kinda weirdly. With a heavy heart I called late in the afternoon as I had come to terms with the fact my beloved 15yr old Ragdoll was dying. Although I had never used this vet center previously from the first time the call was answered throughout the entire process, each and every member of the staff was compassionate and caring. Arroyo Veterinary Center is by far the best I have found. They provide excellent care at a reasonable cost. They are concerned with your pet and make you feel very comfortable that your pet receives the best care possible.
I brought our puppy in for his first appointment. Staff was great, the office was clean, and they treated me and my boy with respect. The first appointment is a lot of information but they assured me they would let me know when certain things were needed as far as vaccines etc. They do offer a puppy starter kit which includes shots/dewormings/office visits for the first 6 months (Caveat - there ARE limits on the # of office visits/shots/etc that are covered under this plan).
