American Residential warranty is ripping me off I do believe it's because we are senior citizens. I called to get my water heater checked they charged me the service fee which is what I am supposed to pay, that helps cover the technician to come out and check the appliance. Then the technician came out and is charging us a fee of $150 for coming out to check our water heater. He then said he will be charging us $3500.00 to replace our water heater. Very poor service and response. Does not insure work is completed by their contractors. On 2 issues they sent someone out, and then never came back to repair, I had to do the repairs, that were covered, and neither company made it right. They do not respond in timely manner. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY.

Do NOT purchase. They are not available 24/7. They do not resolve any claim which is how they stay in business and make money. Invest the annual premium in a bank account. Youre welcome!

I signed up with this company about one month ago. They stated my monthly fee would be $64.99. In there website when I went to pay they asking me to pay $81.84. I refuse to pay this amount. I sent an email to customer service to get this corrected, but received no reply. What kind of company is this?

Disgusting company and I say that with the upmost disrespect. I have been paying for 1 year and have yet to file a claim. Had issues with my hot water heater. Cost me 125 to get a person to come out to my house. The technician was there all of 5 minutes. Said I needed a new hot water heater. A week later I get a phone call saying they are covering only $215 of an $1100 new hot water heater. So I paid the $80 per month subscription and the $125 dollar for the tech to come and they are only reimbursing me 215. So for this I go... read more

Terrible, horrible service. When u call in, you will wait on the phone for long periods of time. I called in about a dishwasher and they sent me a technician from Mattress Haven, that guy did nothing !! He told me to use vinegar. He didnt take anything apart he did zero investigating. I paid $100 for that, along with my monthly membership dues. I called in about it and nothing. This company is a complete ****. Save your money! **************** agents are good. ********************** after filing 2 separate claims, they didnt cover either. Almost like they found a excuse not to accept the claim. Saying it was an act of God and not wear and tear. I canceled immediately.

This company is a scam. I have waited over 1 month for my oven to be repaired or replaced. The replacement cost for my double wall oven would be at the least ********. They have sent a technician 2 times. Now they say because they attempted to fix the oven and spent $800.00 doing thisthey will now give me $600.00 in a check. The oven still is not working at all. I paid$ ******* this year for the home warranty plan. I feel ripped off.

If I could give zero stars I would. After being a loyal customer for over 10 years we had to cancel our policy. After all the money weve paid in premiums with only a couple claims that resulted in no parts being replaced. Weve made them nothing but money.
