Poor customer service all around. And forget trying to have someone help on the phone because theyll just laugh and say theyll call you back. I have never been so upset over a service provider. I called to set this appointment up, took a day off to get the work on my electrical performed. Contractor showed up on time as scheduled but had to leave after 30minutes because that is this companies policy ( American Residential Warranty) the contractor is required to fill a report put which takes 24-48hrs to approve. Contractor filed the report immediately so that they could continue work. ARW has yet to approve this company so I am having to pay extra to have them come out and fix my electricity. Salesman would not email me a quote for a home warranty so I could compare plans side by side, comparing the items covered, the cost per month and the service fee for each call. Not interested in working with a company like this.

ARW has given me a terrible service. I placed a claim 10 days ago for my refrigerator. They sent a technician the next day. The technician determined the compressor needed replacement. He submitted his report, along with an estimate of the repair cost. I called ARW the next day and was told the issue was "being evaluated" and I would get approval for the repairs promptly. Totally disappointed. Fraud, a contract applied to my account that I didn't approve of. Theft, money taken from account, beside my monthly payments. They said it was in error...of course it is...check your accounts people. Continuously asked to speak to a manager...Denied.

American Residential Warranty, ARW, has treated me very badly. On May 1, 2024, I purchased a home warranty from them. The **** ****** informed me that after reading the documents associated with the warranty, it was my option to cancel or keep the policy. I had 30 days to do so and get a full refund.On May 3rd, I called and spoke with **** in retention to cancel. American Residential warranty is ripping me off I do believe it's because we are senior citizens. I called to get my water heater checked they charged me the service fee which is what I am supposed to pay, that helps cover the technician to come out and check the appliance. Then the technician came out and is charging us a fee of $150 for coming out to check our water heater. He then said he will be charging us $3500.00 to replace our water heater. Very poor service and response. Does not insure work is completed by their contractors. On 2 issues they sent someone out, and then never came back to repair, I had to do the repairs, that were covered, and neither company made it right. They do not respond in timely manner. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY.
