I submitted a claim for a garage door opener in August 2022. I contacted ARW over 25 times within the past year for this claim to be processed. Each time I call, Im told by customer service the claim will be escalated and someone will contact me in 2-3 business days. Needless to say, I was never contacted. Did not follow contractor recommendations. AC unit needed replacing due to mechanical issues. ARW covered only $600. When purchasing policy I was told they would replace unit if defective. Now I had to pay for unit myself.. Also, they will put you on hold when wanting to cancel policy and will not answer phones.I have been trying to cancel for three weeks . I have been trying to cancel membership, been on hold for over thirty minutes with another 40 minute wait time expected according to the recording. Service request for AC took 2 months and nothing was done when the tech came out. I would give less than 1 star if possible. Its a scam that makes you feel trapped, especially if you are a working person.

ARW is a **** company. I had the "Deluxe package" which would cover things 100%. My water heater was leaking and needed to be replaced. ARW never assigned a contractor. Told me I needed to get a diagnostic done. Got a contractor that told me it was a $3200 + tax job. Then I was told they'd cover only $1,000. Then they told me they'd only cover for $300 because the water heater was over 10 years old. They didn't mention the 10 year old rule when they convinced me to get the "Deluxe package." This must be a scam business. I spoke with them on the phone yesterday and they explained about their plans and costs and we agreed on a plan and a price and today I got a fraud alert from my bank card because they attempted to charge me $1249.87 when we agreed on $749.99!I'm glad my bank questioned this charge and declined it. This is a bait and switch practice, they do things on the phone, don't give you any paperwork (contract, agreement) in writing to be signed off.then they do these devious backdoor things like overchar... read more

I had 3 claims and all 3 were bungled by incompetance from their "techs" and their customer service. OK company if you like being put on hold and never getting the promised call back.1st claim for a leaking humidifier, never resolved and I ended up calling another company to replace as it should not have been "fixed" to begin with.2nd claim on garage lights which were flickering and sometimes not working. I am extremely disappointed in ARW for their deceptive practices of getting you to purchase a higher monthly premium. This is the worst warranty company I have ever paid for home service and no one should every do business with them. I paid the company a service fee of $75 and because the company that was supposed to fix my air conditioner never showed up and rescheduled without calling me. If I could leave a negative star, I would! I was trying to discontinue my service and called at least 7 different numbers over 4 days and was put on hold for at least 10 minutes for each call. FINALLY reached someone today (after over 11 minutes on hold) and was able to cancel service. Hopefully, I will no longer get charged by this unprofessional company.

Signed up with them. Called them for A hot water heater. Paid The copay. Waited more than the 24-48 hours for them to find a service provider. Couldn’t find one. I never received the full terms and conditions. I got my copay back. Upon asking for the two month premium refund for the misleading information and ******** customers, I was told no. I would Like all of my money back. Please help
