ARW is a rip off plain and simple. I pay my monthly installment and the first claim I made in April I had to find a technician...when they came out they basically placed a bandaid on problem and 33 days later I filed another claim and still had to find my own technician and ended up paying another technician out of pocket to find the problem. I went back to arw and they only offered me a byout of a fraction of what it would cost!!!! I have been treated poorly having reps hang up on me and customer service center is never ope... read more

American Residential Warranty aka *** PLEASE DO NOT GIVE THIS COMPANY YOUR BUSINESS.After years of paying to insure our home appliances it was time for them to make good 'If we cant fix it, we will replace it." It has been nine weeks since I called to get our dishwasher repaired. It was a mess from the beginning. This company is a joke. When I signed up with them I was told it usually takes about 2 days to get someone out to look at the problem. It has taken almost a week each time. My water heater recently broke and I put in a claim first thing Monday morning the plumber did not come tell Friday around 5pm. He then had to send them what was wrong and get it approved before he would fix it. I waited until that next Thursday to hear back. Horrible company. I signed up for a policy on 4/13/22 with someone names *******. She didn't send me any information about my coverage. 5/26/22 I called them to get my declarations and whatever other information I was supposed to have gotten and tried to file a claim for because my bathtub wouldn't drain. I was told by 2 different managers that my claim was covered but claims said they cover stoppages but not TUB stoppages. Dishwasher didn't drain. First issue ever with our dishwasher. I waited nearly 1 week until a technician finally came to my house to fix the dishwasher. Almost an entire week! In the end the tech didn't wear a mask, couldn't fix the dishwasher, ended up chipping tile trying to remove the dishwasher and putting it back. Then when he left he said there was a small leak and thinks he stopped it and we can't use the garbage disposal. ???? I filed a claim in April 2022 and as of 05/05/2022 I have not received a response on the repair to my air conditioner, the heat is unbearable. I have had no less than 3 technicians call me and none have done the job completely.Do not contract with this company, because to charge the monthly fee if they are punctual, but to solve the problems of what they supposedly assure they are not efficient.

Worst Experience from a Home Warranty Company. Didn't honor my agreement. I had a problem with my dishwasher. Service Technician came and spent 10 minutes before stating the dishwasher was more than 10 years old and couldn't get a part to repair. I had to advance pay $75. My agreement clearly states on page 11 of the Kitchen Plus agreement that for for appliances older than 10 years the liability is $300 with no mention of deducting the cost of the service call. They charged me $130 for the service call and only paid me $170... read more

We are looking for an update to our claim made for our home 2 weeks ago (4/24/2022) Called for a status update everyone seems to be giving us the run around specifically Sal and Michael. We have been hung up on and talked to and sent on the run around in circles with still no status update. I really do not think this company is real.
