American Residential Warranty is an absolute scam. They have taken my monthly payments every month, but when I needed to use their services for an **** unit that went out they refuse to cover the unit. I complained and had the issue reopen and was told I would have a response in 24 to 48 hours, but never heard back. After a week and a half I call to cancel my coverage and was given a complete run-around. Every time I called there was a 60 minute wait. I called back in June 2022, I specifically asked if my washer and dryer were included in my warranty that i was purchasing. The operator said yes. I called back in May of this year to have my washer fixed. I was told that both the washer and dryer were NOT included in my coverage. I was told I needed to upgrade my warranty plan to cover said washer and dryer. How is it that I've been paying for a certain plan, thinking I was covered, when in reality I wasn't. My AC has been out for 5 days. The technician they assigned my account told me today that they declined my service request because the company ARW subcontracts with ( NAS) never pays on claims. And all this after ARW told me yesterday the very same company would be coming out tomorrow! But you better believe ARW collected that $75 service fee from me without a hitch. I called and canceled my service with them today, but not before the customer service representative tried to sell me on some home alarm partnership with ADT.

I've filed a claim for my Air conditioner April 28th. And as of today 5/18 no one has reached out.. but they already took out my service payment of ***** and my monthly payment....I have never experienced this before and I have been a customer for many years

Don’t waste your money dealing with this company is a disaster I have carried the insurance for years and I have tried to make 2 claims one with replacing a water heater and the other some plumbing repairs both claims were denied i have waited for at least an hour every time I call and just get passed on to another hold for another department. Save your money this is a major *** ***.

Purchased my home in Sept 2022 and included was ARW. April 26, 2023 filed claim AC not working after multiple phone calls to ARW and the service provider on this day 5/9/23 I still do not have AC. Each time I call ARW the representative states, my claim is still under review. The service provider that came to my home X 2 is new to ARW and does not have a clue of how it works. The service provider also is not giving ARW correct information regarding contacting me as well. This service is HORRIBLE!!!!

This company is extremely unorganized. I have used them a few different times and everytime it's confusing I have to call the company that actually fixes my issue and when I mention my warranty company they don't know it they know the company my warranty company sent them which is too many parties involved. They told me the issue I was having wasn't covered when I'd had this issue seen previously now all of a sudden its not covered? I don't understand! The limits of liability (amount they will pay for a claim) are so low you would never get your money back. Only pay $350 of a $1500 water heater replacement and I've paid them $500 a year for two years and a $55 fee for filing this claim. ********************** on insurance with this provider.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE! ABILITY TO ARTICULATE IN CLEAR AND CONCISE ENGLISH NON EXISTANT AND TIME TO GET TO SPEAK WITH A PERSON IS OUTRAGEOUS. PHONE SYSTEM IS LIKE THAT OF OLD COM'S PHONE USED IN COUNTRY. CLAIMS QUESTIONS DESIGNED TO DELAY CALIM FILING PROCESS
