I signed up about a year back in July 2021. I spoke to he rep when signing up and told him please do not auto-renew the contract, please contact me and I will make the decision then. I had to call three times and finally placed a claim for them to cancel, which should have never been renewed without my consent, and they are still not sending me my money back, ****** of it. This has caused hardship and I for this reason will not purchase again due to their lack of respect

ARW does not have a call-back feature for long wait times, as many premier businesses do.ARW website does not display the full account number needed by the claims ********************************* website does not provide an online claims feature.I filed a claim for my AC which was fulfilled 5/31/2022. My AC is out again as of 07/12/2022. I was not able to reopen the prior claim and had to file a new claim. The claims assistant was not able to obtain pertinent info from the prior claim. American residential warranty will not stop calling nor emailing. They say you MUST cancel in writing ONLY. With my account number, I sent to the address required, twice canceling service. I also reached out through website email address, twice to cancel account. They are playing games, probably throwing letters away and kept charging. Even a third party company is calling asking me to join back up. I did not update card info because I canceled account by letter TWICE . If I could give no stars and write this review I would have. This company is terrible! I have paid for their top plan for over a year ($70.71). My A/C isn't working properly so I called in a claim. ******* ************* came out and stated that I had a freon leak. This company denied my claim stating that my plan foes not cover freon leaks. When I first inquired about coverage a year ago I was told that their top plan covers everything. Now I'm being told that I don't have an additional plan that covers freon leaks. I hope the *** of American Residential Warranty sees this. If I could give ARW 0 stars I would. This company is a scam. I'm just glad I didn't have years under my belt paying them before I found out their scandalous ways. To make a long story short, the first and only claim I've submitted with said company was a total disaster. Their partnered contractor didn't do anything but tell us the part required for repair was discontinued. According to ARW's FALSE advertising, if it can't be repaired it can be replaced. Glad I read the reviews BEFORE I bought the coverage! For all the people who wrote reviews, I thank you! I'm sorry for your bad experience, but I appreciate your candid reviews. American Residential Warranty is the most untrustful, dishonest company that Ive ever had to deal with. Please do not give this company your business. there commercials are not true its never a one-day service. 95% of the *****, Ive had to find my own provider. customer service is rude. the first thing they want is their payment deductible. DO NOT PURCHASE! I placed a claim for gas stove because of gas smell. The gas company came and disconnected for safety reasons (gas leak). Tech came and diagnosed as not repairable. 30 DAYS LATER, ARW refuses to cover because stove was disconnected. I explained it was done by gas company for safety but still refuse.I ***** been a customer for over 10 years,this is my first claim. Claim# ******** placed May 28,2022.

Run!, Run! and stay away from ARW Home warranty. I bought their service paid them in full, and made my 1st claim 8 months later. It was a horrible experience of wasted time, multiple phone calls, and no service was ever provided. Each time I called they indicated someone would call or be in contact with me, no one ever called. However they took my $55 service fee the 1st day I made the claim. I contacted them from May 12th -May 31st with no help other than that someone will be assigned to you and will call you.
