American Residential Warranty is the most untrustful, dishonest company that Ive ever had to deal with. Please do not give this company your business. there commercials are not true its never a one-day service. 95% of the *****, Ive had to find my own provider. customer service is rude. the first thing they want is their payment deductible. DO NOT PURCHASE! I placed a claim for gas stove because of gas smell. The gas company came and disconnected for safety reasons (gas leak). Tech came and diagnosed as not repairable. 30 DAYS LATER, ARW refuses to cover because stove was disconnected. I explained it was done by gas company for safety but still refuse.I ***** been a customer for over 10 years,this is my first claim. Claim# ******** placed May 28,2022.

Run!, Run! and stay away from ARW Home warranty. I bought their service paid them in full, and made my 1st claim 8 months later. It was a horrible experience of wasted time, multiple phone calls, and no service was ever provided. Each time I called they indicated someone would call or be in contact with me, no one ever called. However they took my $55 service fee the 1st day I made the claim. I contacted them from May 12th -May 31st with no help other than that someone will be assigned to you and will call you. The worst company we have ever dealt with. June 2 2022, reported to American Residential Warranty (ARW) our dishwasher was broken. June 6 received call from Fosters Appliance Repair who set up appointment for June 8, 2022 Fosters Appliance said they would send report to ARW. Service #******* We called both Fosters and ARW several times and have received various answers to issues with the dishwasher and someone will call us. Poor, poor service. I was with them for a period of two years. Filed my first claim for plumbing issues on 05/27/22. A plumber from a local company came out 4 days later. Started off good. After that visit i was told that he will submit his findings to the company. Again theres was May 27. Now its June 21st and I still have not heard anything back from ARW. I called and I was told my claim was denied due to them not covering the faucet. Now a claim denied, not happy about that but whatever. But I had to call them after not h... read more

ARW is a rip off plain and simple. I pay my monthly installment and the first claim I made in April I had to find a technician...when they came out they basically placed a bandaid on problem and 33 days later I filed another claim and still had to find my own technician and ended up paying another technician out of pocket to find the problem. American Residential Warranty aka *** PLEASE DO NOT GIVE THIS COMPANY YOUR BUSINESS.After years of paying to insure our home appliances it was time for them to make good 'If we cant fix it, we will replace it." It has been nine weeks since I called to get our dishwasher repaired. It was a mess from the beginning. This company is a joke. When I signed up with them I was told it usually takes about 2 days to get someone out to look at the problem. It has taken almost a week each time. My water heater recently broke and I put in a claim first thing Monday morning the plumber did not come tell Friday around 5pm. He then had to send them what was wrong and get it approved before he would fix it. I waited until that next Thursday to hear back. Horrible company. I signed up for a policy on 4/13/22 with someone names *******. She didn't send me any information about my coverage. 5/26/22 I called them to get my declarations and whatever other information I was supposed to have gotten and tried to file a claim for because my bathtub wouldn't drain. I was told by 2 different managers that my claim was covered but claims said they cover stoppages but not TUB stoppages.
