Filled out refi paperwork, they ran my credit then no follow-up. Impossible to get ahold of someone. I will file a complaint with financial services and state attorney general.

Luckily, I have not signed anything with this company yet but still feel I should tell people not to even begin the process. Just to see if you are approved they run a hard credit on you. Then the same day they reached out to us to tell us that we have been approved. GREAT!! When we tried to call them back no one answered. Still no contact after 24 hours. No reliable/professional business is ran that way. Still 72 hours later have not been able to speak to anyone regarding how to continue with the process. I have clicked on ... read more

Thank you for letting us take the opportunity to resolve this matter. We would like to apologize for the lack of communication during the approval process. If you would like to continue the process please reach out to our escalations team and they will get you set up with one of of the supervisors. Our escalations number is 8442905731. We pride ourselves on making sure all of our customers are a top priority and it is obvious that we fell short here.

I'll give them 1 start because there is not 0 start. From my experience they are scam. They approve my application, decreasing my APR from 4.14% to 3.29%, keeping the same term and then my premium increases from 494 to 515. Does it make sense other than they have thousandsof dollars in hidden fees?

Business response:

We are sorry that your experience with AUTOPAY was not more positive. AUTOPAY is in the business of finding the absolute best loan options for our customers. On average, we are able to lower payments by a little more than $100 per month and we are lowering interest rates by over 5% per year. However, in this particular case, it seems we were able to find an approval, but the terms were not acceptable. It’s important to note that AUTOPAY does not markup rates from lenders and we do not benefit in any way if we cannot find ter... read more

BE WARNED DO NOT LET THEM RUN A HARD CHECK FOR APPROVAL!!! I would give lower than 1 star if I could. They are a classic bait and switch advertiser. They offer the lowest possible option in interest rate, stating you are pre-approved but AFTER doing a hard credit check proceed to tell you that what they can do is drastically different than what you were pre-approved for. While I understand a pre-approval is just that, you shouldn’t expect that to mean you would go from a savings of $180 a month to a savings of $46 a month. W... read more

I would have selected 0 stars if it was optional. This Company is horrendous!! First I was pre approved so I called. Then I was fully approved. One agent told me I needed $1600 in order to refinance with them. I told her that was too much. It defeated my purpose for refinancing in the first place. She said she could not help me if I wouldn't pay $1600. Then I spoke with someone else, a male. He said I was approved then turned around and said I wasn't approved because I didn't have enough verifiable income. I asked him what i... read more

Business response:

We sincerely apologize for the confusing and lack of communication during your refinance process. Prior to receiving a completed credit application, AUTOPAY is able to use limited information to perform a soft credit pull to determine what offers could be available and if we have a high likelihood of achieving those rates. In this case, we did believe that we had a great chance of success, but unfortunately we did not get the result we were aiming for. It is important to note that AUTOPAY does not markup the rates that we r... read more

These people willfully violate state laws that require they endorse and transfer the titles of vehicles within fifteen (15) days. They will take your hard earned cash from your checking account and then state that they won't send your title for 90+ days which isn't legal in any state in the country. When you call or email, they do not respond. The only thing they do if you are lucky is try to force you to sign a "debit card/credit card" waiver form in an attempt to coerce you into signing that just to receive your title in t... read more

Business response:

While we do not know the perspective this is being posed from, we certainly, and our record shows, take every inquiry and complaint to the Better Business Bureau seriously. Titles are released in a compliant manner. It is true, in the case where a consumer pays off a significant amount to clear their loan balance with a card transaction, a release of title “may” be held. This is related to the consumer’s ability to dispute a charge for up to 60 days. We typically will send a “release” merely acknowledging the charge and its’... read more

I inquired about refinancing my auto loan through this business. ****** *****labeled them as being able to provide me with 3% APR and lower my monthly payments by $73. However, the only thing this business lowered was my credit score after it sent out 6 requests and 6 FCUs inquired. I had wished I know the problems they can cause because I never would've went through them.

Business response:

Thank you for the opportunity to address this complaint. We cannot speak to the specifics within the ****** ***** site, however, we do believe that they estimate what is likely to be approved given the information they have available. Once our system receives the applicant information from ****** *****, AUTOPAY performs a soft-credit pull in order to determine if there is a high likelihood of getting an approval from one of the lenders in our marketplace. AUTOPAY only moved forward because based on the information we had, th... read more

Horrible people. They fraudulently report your account late despite when you actually make your payment. If you make it 28-29 days late which legally per FCRA should NOT be reported late. They report it late anyone and blatantly violate the FCRA. Truly deplorable and shady people. They'll ("JOSE" and "Susie") even go as far as using derogatory terms, speaking condescendingly, and talking as if you're one of their homeboys off the street.

Worst loan experience of my life and I have had plenty of loans. I am not going to waste anymore of my time with this company and explain but take true to what I am about to say, stay away from Autopay! Save yourself the frustration, time and mess. If by chance you want to learn the hard way, ask for Eden or Christopher. I assure you they will give you the same experience they gave me and you will have learned the hard way.

Business response:

Thank you for taking the time to speak with our Escalations Team. We apologize for the lack of communication during this period and we will research the communication gaps and what can be done better in the future to set and maintain proper expectations. If we can be of further assistance with this matter or sometime in the future, we can be reached at 844.290.5731. Thank you very much for your feedback and we will continue to work to provide the best experience possible for all our customers.
