Great doctors and great medical assistants and great front office staff are of little use when the overall operation is geared to not respond to sick patients. Every time my wife or I have had a major medical issue on a weekend, nobody returns our calls until Monday. The operation is grossly understaffed. Dr Baskett and Williams are absolutely wonderful from all perspectives but are spread too thin. My last experience could have put my life at risk. He did ok . But I’m very disappointed that I don’t have a MD provider. My health is very important to me. and I don’t feel comfortable just letting anyone else take care of my health. So I will not suggest any of my family members or friends. And if I can’t get an Md then I will have no choice but to seek care somewhere else.
The blood pressure monitors at Avance do not reflect the readings I have experienced for 10 years in various offices and hospitals. My systolic was reported 30 mmHg lower, even after repeated attempts with different monitors at Avance. I had it checked the day before going to this practice at UNC Rex ER and checked it again immediately upon returning home from Avance. Both readings indicated above acceptable Systolic blood pressure (155 vs 125 at Avance)!!!! What is gained by having inaccurate blood pressure monitors?
Do not get a pap from here. Terrible experience in my 40 years of getting them. I had to tell her to stop, the pain was unbearable. No apology and didn’t even get it done! I hurt for hours
I am very impressed with the Dr and staff at this location. I am extremely disappointed with the continued mistakes from the Billing department that continue to degrade my experience with Avance Care.
I attempted to provide my disappointment in the survey sent but there was no room to finish. Really doesn't make one feel good or that you really care in wanting to hear. Extremely disappointed.
