I scheduled a virtual appointment because I got COVID for the second time and I have asthma. After my appointment with the nurse and after the office business hours I received a message saying I had to contact avance care and provide my mailing to get my prescription. I am waiting the office opens again to get my prescription and while this happens I am getting worse without a fast treatment. I’m very disappointed because when I most need avance care wasn’t fast and accurate enough.

Four+ phone calls all with different information to get a signature on a physical form, followed by a "required" provider visit for the provider to listen to my son's heartbeat whilst he had a full EEG two weeks earlier and this information was provided to the office. Office staff says he has to have a chest xray and meningitis B vax but then the story changes during the four calls. You make an appointment and it doesn't really matter people walk in after you and leave before even being seen. 12:30 pm appointment never saw me walked out after making sure I got my refund. Unless you can wait all day would not recommend.

Dr. Brown told me he would get my pronouns wrong on first visit, provided me incorrect dosage on an hrt prescription, and forgot (his words) to tell me about a med that could have stopped undesired permanent changes to my body until 6 weeks after the fact when they had already begun. I addressed all of these things with him in-person and received no accountability. after reporting them in my patient feedback an auto reply said someone would reach out to me but no one did. do not recommend (staff was great tho).

I keep coming back after bad scheduling experiences because I’ve had good providers. I’m done now. I don’t believe my new doc was able to invest the time nor rewarded for curiosity. I came home feeling frustrated and unseen. Also feel like there might be a serious issue that could be overlooked because a system that seems to be based on quantity and not quality of work. I was given pain killer medication, and my blood work was not reviewed!

I have been a patient at avance northeast for a while now, always a great experience. I recently visited Knightdale, a great experience. April 30 was my first time visiting Wake Forest and it was the worst ever. I was met with a rude receptionist who insisted I immediately exit to my vehicle due to my symptoms (severe cough and soar throat). Got me in quickly even though I was a new patient. Jeremy…amazing. Miquel also fantastic. Location is perfectly located in the heart of Fuquay. Lucille is so sweet and a gorgeous black woman whose name I didn’t get, they all made me feel welcome and at ease.
