Get directionsI was seen by a medical professional at the Garner location this year and was not told that I had stage 1 hypertension after my physical, during an ER visit recently, I am at stage 2; if I had been told about my hypertension during my physical I would have taken action. This and the lack of professionalism is why I’ll never go back to this medical center.
It took me 1.5 months of phone tag and canceled appointments to finally get an appointment.
The appointment felt rushed. It seemed as they were set on provided the bare minimum standard of care. As a 30 year old man, I asked to get my hormones checked as part of my wellness and was told it wasn’t included. I got charged $150 extra for that even though they were already drawing blood for other tests as part of my wellness exam. Every other provider I have been to has included that as part of well exam. Not at all responsible in sending prescriptions to the pharmacy
I am very unhappy with the lack of communication between the front deck and the providers. I left messages four times with the front desk and never received a call back. I was told that the messages went to another doctor and all this time my daughter has been waiting for her medication to be filled, and when we made an appointment and waited an hour, we were told that they never received the medical records from her previous doctor. I was just on the phone with Avance location on Ramble Way in Raleigh, and was on hold for 25 minutes before I hung up. I wanted to see just how long I would be on hold. When I called back, I was put on hold again. Once the receptionist got back on the line I told her that I was on hold for 25 minutes. She didn't apologize at all, just immediately said something to the effect of "How can I help you," with a bit of attitude in her voice. I like to give them 0 star as they are doing kind of blackmailing for the prescription refill. They ask you to go for unnecessary tests every quarter for approval of refills.

Difficult to get medical records. They made multiple claims of sending to my new doc, but was never received. I finally came in person and was treated like I was asking for top secret info. Had to fill the form out twice because the ?woman? didn't like how I filled it out. Jumping through hoops for MY data, filling out forms that prove nothing about who I actually am.
