I bought two of them, and too complex was one of the reasons so I didn't use, now it is not required for travel. It couldn't be returned, I just wasted about $150.
Used these tests for months without problem. However their lab company moved and Azova never notified customers of the change. So their prepaid return labels are worthless because it’s the wrong address now and can’t be delivered.
We bought this but Viking no longer required it and it’s unused but Costco said not refundable
The test is sent to the east coast for analysis. Good luck in getting the test sent in time, analyzed and getting results within the 72 hour time. The UPS store could not verify that the test could arrive in time. Many of the requirements such as COVID 19 vaccination certificate or equivalent, self photo are not revealed until after you pay and the payment is not refundable. Though the COSTCO website says good for travel Thursday to Monday, that was not true for the Thursday after Memorial Day because UPS does not pick up on certain holidays. So AZOVA would not have received the test kit until Wednesday, and processing can take up to 48 hours. So I could not use the kit I purchased, and COSTCO will not issue a refund.
We needed a negative PCR test for a 2:20 flight on a Monday. Test had to be taken within 72 hours of flight, so we purchased the AZOVA PCR saliva test with observation and set up our observation at 4:20 on Friday, 70 hours before our flight. Did the test and immediately put the specimens in the mailing pack marked "NEXT DAY DELIVERY" and took them to the UPS store. Could not use since I was leaving on a Tuesday only thing they said was to change my travel plans! And there is no way of using out of the US since it needs to be sent next day air to them.
you have to ship it back to get result which won t be on time to get on plane to travel. Not mentioned before buying it.
We've used these tests twice, once for travel to Hawaii and once for a British Isles cruise. The tests are fine (the web interface is a little confusing), the real problem is UPS shipping. You need to collect the saliva sample and then count on UPS to deliver it overnight. For our Hawaii trip it worked out, but for our British Isle cruise one of the samples made it to NC and no further. UPS consistency is not a strong suit.
