If you are traveling and need a negative COVID test within 73 hours of leaving, this test will NOT work. You have to mail it in and then once they receive it, it will take up to 72 hours for you to get results. Do not order if you need a test for traveling.
Buying, shipping and arrival of units were as expected and hoped for to move forward. HOWEVER, the company giving the test, Azova, was a complete nightmare. The instructions were vague, to say the least. The person who “helped” us, rushed us thru like cattle, and expected us to already know what to do. We did not know. Took the test at 8:30 on Thursday. Went to UPS whose overnight was at 9PM. UPS said it was signed for on noon on Friday. My Flight was at 9PM on Saturday. I received an email saying the lab received it on Sunday and my test results were Sunday. Surely would not have gotten on my flight with this test. Go local. I was concerned and did exactly that. Went in at 10 AM on Friday and got results by 10 PM on Friday. Obviously I am out of pocket a lot of money.
This test is no good for travel (as advertised) due to its turnaround time. It must be mailed to a lab and needs 72 hours (as per a representative at Azova. I am traveling internationally but even for domestic travel to places that require testing (such as Hawaii) it could be a tight turn around. I bought 3 test kits and my attempt at returning them is now “under review” by Costco. It’s been a week and no refund yet. I could be out almost $400 - a total waste of time and money!
The test didn’t arrive for 24 days after it was ordered. I had already gone on my trip and come back. No chance of refund, I’m told. I just threw $120 away ugh
Read the fine print before purchase. Detail description says "This test is applicable for travel Thursday through Monday*". So if your don't have the dates don't get if you may be traveling on Tuesday or Wednesday. My flight was on Monday evening and I was told that was too late based on a footnote which says noon Monday !!
Not worth it. The kit needs to be returned to Azova which has to confirm the test and takes over the time required by the airline. At the end of the day, I ended up with 2 unused kits that I can”t use or returned.
Never receive the kits in time and wouldn't let me cancell them
Didn't get our results back in time and customer support couldn't tell us when our results would be ready. They only specified they recieved our samples.
