Wasn't aware until well into the process that this isn't recommended for anyone travelling on Tuesday or Wednesday. This wasn't well noted on anything that I read while purchasing this product. Additionally, it is near impossible to transfer this to a family member who couldn't used it.
Bought 6 travel kits. Not refundable and Azova not willing to change any of there process or protocols to help me out. Would not purchase from them again.
Would NOT use this test for Hawaii travel. There was no email when the kit shipped out to track and even harder to navigate the voucher redemption and test observation process. I could not book an appointment on the day that they said to book an appointment and had to call support and get an on demand observation. THEN finally Took the sample to UPS and the package was delayed and we didn’t receive our test result until after our flight left. So frustrating!
I purchased this and the hoops you have to jump through to get this kit is ridiculous. Once you do jump through the hoops, they ship the kit overnight, but then there is no appointment available for DAYS! I will not get my test completed by the time I fly despite ordering it weeks ahead of time.
After you purchase, they don’t automatically send you the kit. The verbiage led me to believe it would be sent out. You have to do more stuff before they send it. I learned the hard way and didn’t get the kit in time. Had to make a trip to a Covid testing site. Will be returning the kit as it was no used.
Do you want to add extra anxiety to your travel plan? Do you want to be locked up in quarantine on your vacation? If yes, use Azova for a guarantee nightmarish experience. They are advertised as the preferred testing option for traveling from California to Hawaii. Do not waste your money! So confusing on what where or who was shipping this item. Got a email saying it shipped from Costco only to find out two days later that it was just a email invoice that was “shipped”. The hours available for the video testing are very limited. They do not process the test on weekends. If people travel during that 72 hour time they are out of luck. Test results came back two days AFTER our flight. Get a local test. We ended up having to pay for two tests to make our flight.
I should have read all the reviews before purchasing. Similar to another customer, when trying to seek reimbursement from insurance AZOVA has been very unhelpful - giving me the runaround, suggesting the same thing repeatedly after being told that didn't work, and refusing to provide the TIN information in order for insurance to accept the claim. Don't expect any help from AZOVA or any reimbursement from insurance.
