I've been bringing my cat here for several years now and this place is great. The vets and technicians are so friendly, upbeat and helpful. They also get everything done really quickly/efficiently (which is really helpful if you have a busy schedule) without making you feel at all rushed. Making appointments is quick and easy (you can do it online, which is a huge plus for me), and they always respond speedily to any emails. I cannot say enough good things about Back Bay Vet! My cat was experiencing symptoms for what I believed to be worms. I had a terrible experience at her (now) previous vet - so when I was referred here by a coworker I was pretty nervous. The staff was sympathetic to the problem, friendly, and quickly detected and diagnosed my cat (it was in fact worms). This is by far the best veterinary clinic I have ever been to. I have a 15-year-old dachshund who has lived with me in VT, NY, and MA and we have been to vets all over but when we found Back Bay Vet we were blown away. Every vet we have seen here is more thorough with their examination than we saw anywhere else. We love Dr. Satchu who recently gave my very shaky 15 year old ElleVet which is a cannabinoid - his shaking decreased with in 2 days of taking it! Back Bay Vet Clinic is the BEST! I've never been around a group of people who care so deeply about my dog. The entire staff is absolutely amazing. When my beloved German Shepard passed away unexpectedly, Dr. Erin Carey reached out to me directly and expressed her sympathies. It was a tough time but it meant SOOO much to hear from Dr. Carey. This is hands dawn the best veterinary clinic I've ever been to. The whole staff is extremely caring and professional. The veterinarian who took care of my dog, Erin Carey kept me updated throughout the whole process, it really made me feel like my dog is in good hands. She also worked through her lunch break to do a minor surgery on my dogs paw. I have used Back Bay Vet for my French bulldog since he was a puppy. The customer service is unparalleled and while some might say the prices are high - the quality of care and service your pets receive is worth it. Whether it was following up after a test, or providing thorough instructions after my dog's surgery they took extra steps to put my fears at ease and even helped me carry my dog down to the car. I would highly recommend them!
Dr. Jou was amazing with my new puppy! I'm one of those weird pet people (lol) so I really appreciated her attention and care towards my puppy.
We have been going to BBV for two years, ever since an 8 week-old Corgi puppy came into our lives, and have always found them to be top-notch. I can't express how impressed and pleased I am with Back Bay Vet. Having previously worked in veterinary ICU's, I have high standards when looking for vets for my pets.
