Just moved from Florida and being 7 month pregnant, we didnt have time to find our furbaby a vet. But then, our baby girl started to vomit and have diarrhea, we were frantically calling around to find a her a vet that could take her ASAP instead of going to the ER. We called the clinic at 8 AM when they just opened and got a 9 40 AM appointment. The staffs were friendly and efficient. Best veterinary clinic I've been a client of. I've recently moved to Wellesley from Back Bay where Maxwell, my Labradoodle, has been there since he was a baby - he's now 3.5 years old. I won't hesitate to drive to Boston for the excellent service this clinic provides. Dr. Torres is highly recommended, and all the techs are friendly and knowledgeable. We started seeing dr. Waisburd only 4 days ago, after his visit our puppy became very sick. I am so impressed with the amount of correspondence our vet kept with us through the whole process, only knowing him for one day! We ultimately had to go to the emergency room and she was emailing me from Home up until midnight. So far we couldn't be more happy with our experience at back bay vet
Summary: We brought our dying rat here; the vet was able to see us without an appointment; she was able to confirm that our rat finally had died, after about 30 minutes of slow breathing; they did not charge us a penny for their service, and they were very kind the whole time. Great place! Our little kitty had a rash and they were able to see us the next day - on a Sunday! The desk staff was helpful, the tech was gentle and knowledgeable and welcomed our questions and comments. The office is very nice, clean and welcoming. Dr. Antchu was wonderful! She was extremely kind, seemed very thorough, explained everything in terms we could understand, and went over all the treatments and costs with us. Back Bay Vet is literally the best veterinary clinic I've ever brought my pets to. I have always had guinea pigs and it's extremely difficult to find a vet that knows anything about these littles...so many times I've brought my guineas in only to be given a very basic diagnosis that barely helps anything. Not so here! Dr. Sachu is the seriously the kindest and most caring vet I've ever had. Back Bay Veterinarian Clinic has given me the trust that I need for my dog's health care needs. My dog and I just moved here from NJ so I came in as a new client. My plan was to both establish care as well as address an issue with my sweet little pup. Doctor Satchu did a wonderful job of gaining both my and my dog's trust. Brought my dog in for a yearly checkup and all was as good as can be! We were taken right into the exam room, offered water/coffee, and see shortly thereafter. The exam itself was thorough and many questions were asked to get the full story of her history. Overall a good 30-45 minutes of patient contact was provided by the DVM + nurse, and more if it were warranted.
