From the beginning to the end of the process I was made comfortable, I was able to ask questions and I asked a lot! Everyone was extremely patient and calming. I even had to email nurses with specific concerns after the procedure and everyone responded to me quickly. Vivian and Dr. Basu were wonderful throughout my whole experience. There were a few other nurses and such that played a key roll however I do not recall their names. Everyone from the front reception desk to the anesthesiologist was amazingly wonderful. They made sure to be very informative in regards to what to expect, the after care and the caution I should take. I am more than satisfied with my care and treatment I received and will be returning for many more procedures in the future. Thank you Vivian, Dr. Basu and Staff!
After surgery saw Dr the next day but then next 2 visits saw nurse after asked for Dr on 3rd visit. Maybe too soon to tell, but still have baggy skin on knock.
My only concern is the fact that the surgery center is in downtown Houston. I don't mind the trip from Katy to downtown unless it's for surgery. I fear having a complication from the surgical site such as excessive bleeding (I might bleed a lot from face wounds!) or swelling and nausea and not being able to have Dr. Basu available immediately. Dr basu was very professional and made me feel comfortable. He answered my questions before I got a chance to ask him. He was very observant and seemed excited about doing my surgery.
The staff has been consistantly available and helpful through my whole recovery answering all my questions and making me comfortable enough to ask questions and show pictures. Since it was my first experience with comestic surgery I had a lot... The surgeon's work is amazing. It is exactly what he said it would be. I trust the doctor and his staff every much and I do not trust easy. :)
Although Dr. Basu is very knowledgeable and did a wonderful job, I was not pleased with the wait times in the lobby or in the waiting rooms. We waited for over an hour all 3 times I was in the office. Although the staff was very nice, it was quite irritating. Friendly, knowledgeable staff that made me feel comfortable. And Dr. Basu was very well spoken, enthusiastic, and really made me feel well taken care of.
Dr. Basu is very professional and respectful and his employees are very friendly and welcoming women. I enjoy every visit to the office. I am sad to only have one more visit with this staff! My procedure was as explained and imagined the pain after surgery was very minimal and I was not down very long! I am very happy with the final results and I recommend Basu Plastic Surgery to any and everyone who asks about my breast augmentation!
