We ordered a display cabinet from Bernie & Phyl's. When it arrived at our house it was very poor quality. The door would not close fully and there were multiple cracks in the piece. When we called, they promised to order a replacement and deliver the exchange. We agreed. The wait time was six weeks. After waiting all day for the promised replacement, we received a voice mail that the replacement was defective. We called again, same story. We did have difficulty getting this piece from the manufacturer. We did offer a discount to keep it or a return for a refund. The customer has since opted to keep with a discount.
we bought a double electric recliner sofa and swivel rocker chair in Sept (?11?). Noone used one of the recliners until Nov 1, 2018. When I pressed the recline button we heard a metal mashing sound and a snap. The recliner mechanism broke on its FIRST USE .... Nov 2, 2018 called B&P company where we bought furniture, Few days later a "tech" showed up and checked out damage. He said they'd send away for the piece, as it just broke apart when started. So our broken LIVING ROOM sofa was broken thru Thanksgiving, Christmas, New ... read more

The technician did note the reclining mechanism was bent and an order for a new mechanism was placed. We apolgoize for the delay in that part getting here to us. We have keyed for the sofa to be replaced. Our customer care department will reach out to schedule that replacement.

I purchased a living room set from Bernie and Phyl’s In December 2015 and also purchased a five year protection plan and was told Furniture would be covered for five years. My recliner now just under 3 years old is falling apart and when I called for service I was told the chair has a limited one year manufacturers warranty and I would have to pay if their tech came out. I called the corporate office and I was told the same thing and employee was rude to me and told me all stores have a limited liability policy. I told her I... read more

Bernie and Phyl's is not a good place to buy products nor do they value their customers. We purchased three separate items. Dresser/night stand, adjustable bed base and waterproof cover for a queen size tempurpedic mattress. The dresser was fine; the nightstand has a drawer that sticks. Not big deal, I can live with that. They delivered the adjustable bed and didn't work. They didn't even care and basically said, oh well, we will deliver a new one in 3 weeks. We certainly apolgoize for any trouble. At the time of delivery it was reported that the foundation did not work. We had keyed for the foundation to be replaced. Unfortunately it was no instock. As soon as it was available we scheduled for it to be replaced, and that was 2 weeks later. I understand the frustration there. The mattress pad is a product that comes with a warranty protecting both the mattress pad and the mattress. That warranty is administered by the manufacturer.
Bernie and Phyl's is not a good place to buy products nor do they value their customers. We purchased three separate items.
