Horrible. I have a recliner with a busted frame (beyond repair) and they are telling me the cat scratches void the warranty. I wasn't looking to have material repaired. So I guess in their opinion my cats scratched so hard the frame broke. They will find anyway to rip you off, from selling bad furniture to finding crafty ways to not honor warranty's.
I purchased a leather couch, dining room table with matching chairs, and a rug from this establishment, along with a 5 year extended warranty with the promise that items could be replaced for any defects or damage. Less than 2 years later, the rug unraveled, the wood on the chair split, the dining table peeled, and the couch ripped and USB port never worked. Hi, I am writing to share my experience and eventually file a claim if it is not resolved fairly. First the couch was ripped by the delivery company forcing it through the door. Since it was my second home and not very fancy I wasn't as particular and I agreed to having Bernie and Phyl's come and SEW the rip. It is still visible. but even then I was willing to settle and be happy. Never once did they offer an apology or anything.. Then last year (mid 2018) we noticed the couch was rusting on the bed frame of the sofa bed and... read more

Bernie & Phyls' furniture protection is a complete scam and the service person they send (despite being very nice) is a front. As soon you call to report a stain, they list a million reasons why they can't cover it even though the policy clearly states otherwise. I purchased a five-year protection plan that covers pet bodily fluids. First it was "it only covers one year". When I read the policy back to them they changed their tune. Then I was accused of letting the stains accumulate even though I reported it within the five ... read more

We ordered a display cabinet from Bernie & Phyl's. When it arrived at our house it was very poor quality. The door would not close fully and there were multiple cracks in the piece. When we called, they promised to order a replacement and deliver the exchange. We agreed. The wait time was six weeks. After waiting all day for the promised replacement, we received a voice mail that the replacement was defective. We called again, same story. we bought a double electric recliner sofa and swivel rocker chair in Sept (?11?). Noone used one of the recliners until Nov 1, 2018. When I pressed the recline button we heard a metal mashing sound and a snap. The recliner mechanism broke on its FIRST USE .... Nov 2, 2018 called B&P company where we bought furniture, Few days later a "tech" showed up and checked out damage. He said they'd send away for the piece, as it just broke apart when started.
