I made an appointment on their website for an initial consultation. They never showed up or called. I called their customer service number to ask if they were running late or needed to reschedule. I was told they will put in a note about the no show but cannot speak directly with dispatch. I'm pretty disappointed that there was no communication with me about the now show and no resolution to reschedule.
Very disappointed with Big Bully Turf's customer service. They came out to my home to do a site audit and told me to look out for windows that could reflect the sun and burn the artificial grass. There were no windows, so I was given the all-clear. My yard has a metal fence, they never mentioned that sun reflecting off it could burn the grass, otherwise I would never have installed turf there. ok am I the unlucky person? I have to say the team is amazing, Jobe got done in one day, look great , everyone respectful and kind... The artificial turf was defective and there is a patch of burnt turf in it. We are very disappointed and have reached out to Big Bully Turf multiple times to get this resolved and repaired. No response from them at all to any of our inquiries. They do not stand behind their work and would never recommend them and would not use them again. Now we have to call someone else to fix what they did.
Failed to show up to give a quote. We called to find out why and they blamed it on their AI (which had been sending us marketing text messages). We set a new time for today. The guy showed up at the wrong time (90 minutes early), so I asked him to come back at the right time and he showed up 30 minutes late, with no apology or explanation. BUYER BEWARE We hired this company to replace our existing turf after our dogs damaged the old installation. During the sales visit, Michael inspected the area, acknowledged our prior issues, and told us he had never seen turf fail the way we described. He assured us that if anything similar happened, it would be taken care of. Based on that reassurance, we signed a contract and paid a 50% deposit. Communication problems started immediately. Never showed for initial appointment. Made excuses, it was a computer glitch, then it was that the tech didn't check his email.
Completely regret our decision going with Big Bully. We received 3 turf estimates & ultimately decided to go with them even though they were the most expensive. Mainly for thickness & warranty of turf. Our sales person gave us a quote for what we understood to be the entire yard yet they only completed half for the price we were given. WE were clear in what we wanted and stated after our pool install we didn't want to fix the irrigation in the back or mow, we wanted turf throughout & stone on the back wall. Do not use this company. They charged us for wired lights in our putting green. When we signed off (during the daylight hours) they said everything work and the lights would come on at night. Come to find out they didn't even hook them up. They then offered to credit us over $600 until they found some cheap battery operated lights on Amazon for $12 a piece and said they would credit us that amount.
