We had an appointment last evening with Big Bully Turf to review ideas for our golf-course backyard. While we knew they were a premium company, the consultation started at 6:30 PM, and the representative did not leave until almost 10:30 PM. The experience was incredibly pushy. At the end, the representative was visibly upset about not getting the sale, refused to look me in the eye, and left without even saying thank you. I paid almost $4000 for a tiny bit of turf. Looked great at first, but I can't get the leaves off. The small stuff sticks like glue. I called Big Bully to find out the best way to keep it nice, but "customer service" was only interested in selling me more turf. She said she couldnt answer my simple question, that I had to email the warranties department. Of course, warranties didn't respond to my email. Stay away. Once the turf is in, you are no longer a customer unless you buy more.

For leaves and small debris, a leaf blower or plastic turf rake is typically the best way to keep your turf looking great. We'd be happy to provide more maintenance tips as well. Overall: the execution and coordination of my job has been messy and resulted in a remodel that frankly looks a little sloppy. Unfortunately I can't say my experience with Big Bully was anything great. I was sold on a bunch of open promises. Had a series of miscommunications. First had my install moved up but then due to issues with wrong product being delivered or not delivered and weather had to move the install to a later date. Then they showed up late in the afternoon on my rescheduled day and only did half the install. Had to end up returning 3 times to complete the install of the turf. As a general contractor in Las Vegas for over 30 years, I have dealt with all kinds of sub-contractors, and I have to admit I fell for the sales pitch. He said all the right things I look for and felt comfortable with the size of the company. They make you feel welcome and that you are so important. How the project manager is going to be there the whole time to make sure it gets done correctly. This happens right up until the time they get your deposit, then everything is done by text or email. Two years after giving Big Bully a five star review and after having this turf, we are very disappointed. We are not new turf owners. We have had fake turf for over 30 years now. Wanted to try something new so we gave Big Bully a chance since they came in with the lowest price, I guess you get what you pay for. I made an appointment on their website for an initial consultation. They never showed up or called. I called their customer service number to ask if they were running late or needed to reschedule. I was told they will put in a note about the no show but cannot speak directly with dispatch. I'm pretty disappointed that there was no communication with me about the now show and no resolution to reschedule.
Very disappointed with Big Bully Turf's customer service. They came out to my home to do a site audit and told me to look out for windows that could reflect the sun and burn the artificial grass. There were no windows, so I was given the all-clear. My yard has a metal fence, they never mentioned that sun reflecting off it could burn the grass, otherwise I would never have installed turf there.
