When it first opened they had quick service, nice outgoing staff and it felt like an actual old school diner. It has been going down hill. There hasn't been any good servers. There is or maybe was 1 left I thought was really good. Kevin I think his name is. He always made the dining experience good. And all the rest that I had seen originally aren't there or I just haven't seen them. But service has become slow, I have had to wait a few times for something simple as dip or a refill. I went in for breakfast and the service was fast. Ordered the CA eggs Benedict and the eggs were poached perfectly. Staff was friendly and I'll definitely be back

Decent food. Quick service. It's a good option when you don't really have an idea what you want to eat but need to fill your belly!

I took my daughter and two grandsons to the black bear this afternoon. The food was delicious. We all had something different. Our server, Anthony did a great job. He was very attended and handle things very well. We enjoyed our time in the restaurant. It was clean and bright. I highly recommend this diner for good home cooking.

We have been coming into the Black Bear diner in Canyon country since they have opened. Our experience here has always been 10 out of 10 the food is awesome. The service is excellent. Kevin has become one of our favorite servers! He make sure that we are well taking care of throughout our meal. He always has a smile and has a kind heart.

My first Black Bear Diner experience was in OKC several years ago and I loved it. Wasn't sure what to expect from the new location in Canyon Country as I was disappointed in the food and service in Valencia. WOW! The Canyon Country Black Bear Diner is fantastic!
