We had great service and the breakfast was very good. We will definitely be back to try lunch and dinner.

My experience at the Black Bear Diner location in Canyon Country was truly amazing!! The food was exceptionally good and fresh. I was also pleasantly surprised by the staff. They were all extremely welcoming, which was such a pleasant surprise after my experiences at the Valencia location. So nice to experience sincerely nice staff. Looking forward to my next visit!

I took my two grandsons to the Black Bear diner yesterday afternoon. We had a very good meal there. The food was excellent. Our server couldn't have been better. The restaurant is pleasant and it's a nice place to have a meal. I recommend this restaurant for good food, good service and a nice environment to eat in.

So, we have eaten at this Black Bear location 8-10 times now. When they first opened they had the normal new restaurant issues that are to be expected. The food has been very good on all visits and the service has been excellent! Super friendly people working at this location. I really dont understand people that say the food and service are great and leave less than a 5 star review. (Wannabe food critics). I arrived towards closing but was not rushed out. It had a paddy melt which was cooked to proper temp as a side I had soup which while fresh tasted like Campbell's. Food was hot but it was under the heat lamp for 4 minutes. Since the resturant had only ne other person. The food should not have waited. Things to know they close at 9 pm so early.

Had breakfast at Black Bear Diner and got the strawberry waffles they were delicious! They were stacked with fresh strawberries, whipped cream, and just the right amount of sweetness. But the real MVP was our waitress, Dani. She was so sweet, funny, and on top of everything. Literally the kind of server that makes your whole meal better just by being around!
