Went to the BBD after our Christmas photos the other night. It wasn't busy inside and we were seated immediately. The server started out strong, but then our server seemed more interested in visiting with friends in the corner than tending to what customers that were there. My daughter and I always eat here when I visit her from California. Delicious tri-tip sandwiches and amazing desserts. Good service.
Loved the black bear diner in Vegas, so glad they are here. Have had bfast and lunch and will be back soon for another meal. Service is great! Food is large portion and great!
I can't say enough how much this place warrants 5 stars. The decor is geared towards the name, lots of cute bears everywhere.. even on the ketchup. Prices are reasonable and the food was delicious. We came for breakfast during peak hours on a Sunday...Most importantly, this review is due to the fantastic service. Ruben and Kiana went above and beyond to accommodate us. Thank you to both of them! Highly recommend this place!!
We came for Sunday breakfast, there was 4 of us around 11:00, only had to wait about 20 minutes for a table. The servers are great, very attentive,friendly and they hustle. We ordered the blackberry stuffed French toast, regular French toast and a Denver omelette. All the food came out hot and tasty. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. They give you plenty of food!
Thought we'd try this place out for breakfast. This location isn't as rustic as some of their other locations - they took over a Village Inn. Their menu, printed like a newspaper, is pretty complete with great breakfast options. First time at Black Bear Diner. The food was served just as we had ordered it. It arrived hot and the portions were large. Our server was friendly and refilled our drinks without being asked. They offer a veteran's discount which is greatly appreciated. We will be back soon.
I took a new friend, Heather to this delightful spot. We both ordered the Blackened Salmon. ONG, yummy! The salmon was on a bed of freshly sautéed Spinach. We had separate salads instead of mashed potatoes with gravy. Also we split an order of Sweet Potato FriesDipping each slice into Dejon Mustard. Good Service. This was a good place for breakfast. It took quite a while for us to get our food though. While the food was good, it wasn't fantastic or anything. Sort of what I had expected. The server was very attentive and nice though. Coffee refills kept coming. Next time I will try a different item on the menu.
