Great Food at a great price with Awesome service. Always huge portions. Marcus was our server and he was delightful. All day breakfasts too.!
I get breakfast here, anywhere between 1 PM & 8 PM. The breakfasts are always great. Omelettes are terrific, the country potatoes are "to die for", & plentiful. The place is usually very clean, & the service is always good to great.
This is the place for comfort food. Everything we have ordered has been delicious. Marcus was our server and I always enjoy watching someone who is very good at their job.
The Black Bear Diner is our go to place for a wonderful breakfast, warm/welcoming atmosphere and especially clean. The food is excellent and they use quality products to produce you a meal that is overflowing with very tasty food and a great atmosphere. Never having been to a Black Bear Diner, and on the recommendation of friends, hubby and I had breakfast at the Scottsdale location, which is about 3 miles from the Mayo Clinic Phoenix Campus. The breakfast food was great; the bottomless cup of coffee was tasty and hot, not the tasteless, warm water coffee other chains serve. Black Bear in Scottsdale is our favorite go to diner. We have never been disappointed with their food or service. They also serve breakfast around the clock and a favorite dish is their chicken fried steak with eggs and potatoes.
Went there for the first time last week was craving fried chicken and they did not disappoint, nice friendly service. Definitely will go back. The only thing I would say is if they can get rid of the carpet. Carpet in restaurants to me is it no.
Chicken fried steak was alot smaller,.. maybe just a sporadic thing, or maybe it's changed for good. Entrees came out at different times,.. Perfectly cooked eggs,.. Overall was a decent visit, and food was great! Everyone is super friendly.
