We were quite disappointed in our experience tonight. We usually love Black Bear Diner, but we waited for our food forever, the server was absentee during most of the meal, and he spaced getting the pancakes I ordered until we were pretty much done with our food. I was hoping for a side of pancakes (Caution! This isn't a thing there...) and it cost me $9.00! When we asked to speak with the manager about the situation, he/she didn't even come out to speak with us At all. We won't be back to this location.

start by saying that we are a family that we all work in a restaurant and that we decided to meet for breakfast in this place after waiting 20 minutes which does not seem bad to me for a Sunday we were able to sit down and our waitress arrived and took our drink and food order by surprise mia the coffee was cold and the cup is with residue as if someone overturned the coffee. A fun place to eat, and the service is friendly. It's not their fault that the food is bland and the biscuits are dry.

I will not go back to this place. It's horrible. We normally go to the one in Layton area with satisfaction. The difference in this particular place, are ; the food doesn't appear appetizing . We ordered omelets and the mushrooms were old and some fruits cut were days old. The burgers looked microwaved; the sodas mostly with water and most of all we asked for crispier bacons and they looked that were slightly cooked and old! You can tell the workers look different than the other diner; our server spilled water while pouring ... read more

I first want to say that the guys that helped my sister and I (Mitch and colton I think is his name) we're amazing! and the food was great! However, there were 3 girl servers that were very unprofessional in front of us. They were talking about their pay and complaining about tips. That's obviously not something you do, especially around customers. I used to be a server at many different restaurants and I know that management would not find that acceptable behavior.
