I had a very pleasant experience with this dealership with both of our transactions there. We came back this second time because of the impact of Bruce's customer service back in 2002. My experience here was nice, in-line with what I would expect to experience at a high-end car dealership. People were respectful and friendly and the process was pretty straight forward and did not take up a lot of time which is something that I am always appreciative of. The negotiation was smooth and not overly exhaustive which is also major for me. I am looking forward to my car washes and looking forward to NOT returning much for issues with my car... as I am confident that my preowned BMW will serve me well. :-)
I would highly recommend BMW of Schererville to my friends and family. The new staff in sales and service is great! They take care of you on the spot and you're happy when you leave! I know if something comes up, I can call and it's resolved that day or asap. I know I'll be buying cars from them for years to come!
Am amazed about the non-pushy atmosphere sales environment I encountered...with a ultra knowledgeable sales person (Joe and his gang) that knows about his stuff...aka the car he is selling. He can tell you about the engine maximum torque at the minimum engine speed of each and every model on the showcase...with even the different types of trees used for the wood panelling in the cars he sells...to how a difference in the design of let's say a tire valve stem cap can affect the balancing of each different tire/rim combo.
I felt like a VIP as soon as I stepped into BMW of Schererville. The service is outstanding and the employees are extremely friendly. Paul helped with a warranty repair that was done efficently and promptly. I had an injector and then ignition coil that needed replacement. Communication was good, no time was wasted, and the service was friendly and personable. Warranty repairs are sometimes necessary, and Paul made things easy and hassle free. The loaner car was nice and easy (and necessary for me). I'll continue to work with BMW of Schererville when the need arises.
I have worked with Berto on a few occasions. He has been at this dealership a long time (when it was Levin BMW and know that it is Schererville. BMW). He is knowledgeable, honest, friendly and polite. He has sold me 2 BMWs and as long as he is at this dealership, he will sell me more. I would not consider working with another salesperson. Great service and very helpful. Would definitely recommend others back. Tom, Berto and Michael really worked diligently to come up with both the right car and the right deal for me. They also made sure that my car had everything I needed to ensure my satisfaction when I walked out the door. Very good experience in a usually tiresome one.
